Your really good at explaining chinuji2004, thanks for all your explanations! I'm sure you would have made a great Guru (Sage) and are one in a modern age! What you have explained has really cleared things up for me and I'm sure others who read and don't post or have an IF account!
I realised, there have been so many Mahabharat's on TV but yet none of them explore the Bhagvad Gita, which is more important than Karan getting his thumb cut off or Duryodhan throwing Bhim into the sea...... All these serials just show the violent or fun parts of the Epics, not its true meaning!
So since this topic is for what you would change.... I would say, Mata Ki Chowki, listen to what we think, then don't make the serial another Saas Bahu Saga, they are lame and boring, but show the real meaning of Hinduism, not 24 crore devtas/deviyan, but how Hinduism is a religion of one GOD, with loads of avtars, to fulfill a different role in our life (like it has been mentioned in this topic), so don't create politics between our Devtas, its like arguing with yourself - why would you do that? and so why would you make the Devtas argue if really, they are one, but are different avtars. The parikshas were good, testing different elements of Vaishnavi and so were the twists in the story, but stay away from Saas Bahu stuff!
And with this I hope to start my next discussion, which is still in the planning stages. Thanks to everyone who participated in this discussion, I appreciate it and hope you will join in my next discussion and future ones too!

I am really not a guru or anything else. I am just some one who likes to look at things in a different way. Yes, I would really hate the saas bahu stuff in MKC which anyways wont happen (I assume) since this looks like a fight between sheel kumar and vaishnavi
I dont think even Gods are playing politics. Look at it this way, you have an extra bright student who is going to appear for an extra difficult exam. As a teacher you love this student and want him to succeed hence you will help him any way you can. However, you cant change the rules of the exam, you cant sit for the exam yourself and you cant even give so much help that it would be unfair to the others as well. Moreover, this is a journey of bhakt who is born for a special purpose...she first needs to find that purpose, get honed for it, come to terms with it (since it is not her idea of happiness ; away from her husband etc) and then accomplish it... and come on if these twists werent there then would we enjoy a straight forward serial?
You know the real purpose of every one is actually evolution, the soul is here to learn lessons and evolve. I would really envy some one like Vaishnavi in real life who is able to invoke and even see the masters in the spiritual plane...wow...and like they say the higher you get the tougher it is....

I would just change one thing in mata ki chowki 1..the innumerable irritating advertisements which are more than the duration of the serial and the camera flashing repeatedly on every characters face to waste time!!!
