Shahid Kapur Yash Raj Films' favourite hero?

Mumbai, May 20 (IANS) Bollywood actor Shahid Kapur seems to have become Yash Raj Films' (YRF) favourite. His first venture with the production giant is yet to hit the screens, but the actor has already signed another film with the banner.

Shahid's first film with YRF is being directed by Anurag Singh. He has teamed up with Rani Mukerji in the film, which was earlier titled 'Hadippa', which is said to be about cricket.

The second project that Shahid has been signed up for will be actor Parmeet Sethi's directorial debut and he teams up with Anushka Sharma of 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' fame.

'The Yash Raj camp sees Shahid as the classic romantic hero who has the potential to turn on the sexy or rugged vibe when required,' said a source close to the actor.

Bah !!!

Shahid had signed a 2 film contract wid YRF and the Anushka Sharma film is the 2nd film of that 2 film contract , while Hadippa was the 1st.....I had heard a long time ago that Hadippa had been postponed...Maybe so they decided to go ahead with the 2nd film instead !! *shrugs*😆

i didn't know he signed a two film contract..

but in any case, he does has the classic choclate hero quality... great going Shahid... 👏

He hasnt signed any such contract. Come on, he's not a newcomer..he hasnt signed a 2 film contract. About YRF, well Shahid is very professional and hard working, who wouldnt like to work with him?

He's a bit too professional actually, haha. I remember during the shooting of "Vaah, Life ho to aisi," Sanjay Dutt didnt like Sasha too much cuz Shahid wont interact with Sanjay offset. He would just do his scenes and go home. Sanjay thought that he was being rude and not giving the "senior" enough respect. Sanjay didnt know that Sasha is just reserved like that. Now, of course, they have sorted out everything and they get along. Sasha was even there for his wedding anniversary party.
