To show you how to play the game and for a tutorial, heres a sample picture and how to play :D
Alrightyyy...so copy the picture that you want to play with first from here onto Paint....
IF you are using Paint, this is how your screen should look when you paste one of the pictures onto Paint!
To move the pictures around you have to select a piece from the puzzle and move it..to move a picture you need to use this button from the left bar:
After you have clicked on that box, choose a piece that you want to move around first..to do that click on the piece and drag your mouse to the size of the piece like so :
Once a piece has the dotted box around it, the piece is free to move...once you have the box around the piece..click on the picture and drag it to a side where there is enough space to solve the puzzle *if you want to increase the size of your paint screen go the very bottom and right end of the screen and wait for an arrow to show up...click on that and drag until desired size is reached:
Once you have learned how to move the pieces around, its quite easy...just keep moving the pieces around where you think they need to be by looking at the original picture...to get the best results, make sure to have the box outlined quite right on the size of the picture...heres a half done picture for you
Heres a full done picture for you....now to take out all the white blanks on the top right of the screen...click on that square button again and select the whole region of white boxes, like so :
After you've made the selection press Delete..after you've pressed delete...this is what the screen looks like:
Now to fill in that white space click on the paint bucket:
And at the bottom/top of the screen choose the color it is that is the background color for the puzzle you choose to solve - all the colors that ive posted in the pictures for the contest are here so its shouldnt be hard finding the color of your background After you've chosen the paint bucket and the color you desire, point the bucket in the area you want to fill and left click :
And it will fill in the void with the color you choose...
By now you should have a fully done picture...save it and dont forget to save it as a JPEG file
To post your answers...first go to http://www.imageshack.us/
Browse the picture you want to post and resize the picture to 640x480
After you click on upload, you will be taken to this page
Scroll down the page and look for the box that says Include Details...Make sure that the box is UNCHECKED
After you have unchecked the inlcude details box, copy the link from the box that says Hotlink for Forums (1)
Now to Post your Pic in this thread...click on Post Reply
After you click on Post Reply, you will be taken to this page
Once youve reached this page, click on this button
Clicking on that button will make this window pop up...remove the existing http:// and paste the link you copied from Image Shack and press Enter
After you press Enter, the picture might not show up...it might only show up as a red cross...but if you do see a red cross, go ahead and click on post reply...the picture should show up once you click on post reply :D
So now you've got the hang of it...If you liked the game, go ahead and experiment with other pictures aswell...i hope this game turns out to be a success out here too :D This game might be familiar to one or two of you guys whom i know from the KAA forum :D So go ahead and have fun with the pictures guys :D
