TODAY's UPDATE
[ a must must watch scene] Paddy comes down the stairs calling Dhondu. When dhondu comes she asks to call Salil, she wants him to drop her off to the women's club, they are having the election today. Dhondu says Salil is not here. Paddy says then get the chauffeur, Dhondu asks what offer, Paddy corrects him and says get the driver. Paddy complains when Purvi is around Salil is always circling around her, and when she is not here he is after her. She hear Nikhil talk on the phone. He saying " what? you want to go out with me in my private jet? no problem babe, anything for you" Paddy gets really happy. Since he said private jet the girl must be rich. She wonders who the girl is. Suniel Ambani daughter is too young, maybe Sonam Kapoor but he doesn't watch hindi movies. (sonam is ekta's ladli by the way) Then paddy think maybe someone in Hollywood. (yeaaaah.....why not) Then she hears Aman talk. He is lying on the soaf saying the same thing to his girlfriend. Paddy gets happy once again. She says finally my kids are listening to me. She asks Aman who is he talking to, he puts the phone away in a hurry. (itna bada ho gaya hai phir bhi maa se darte hai) He says a friend. Paddy says a friend good. She calls Nikhil. Then she tells both of them how proud she is of them and she leaves. Nikhil and Aman wonder what made her so proud of them.
Sur brings Arohi home. Antara runs downstairs and hugs her. She asks if she is in pain right now. Arohi says no. She goes on saying how she didn't feel like staying in this house without her, and she missed her. Antara starts getting teary eyed and Arohi tells her to stop. Antara walks away saying she is fine. Arohi slowly walks toward her and hugs her saying she is fine. Antara cries. Purvi says now let Arohi rest, go fix her bed, She also instructs Sur to make the breakfast doctor reccommended. When both leave Purvi asks how is she. (Purvi looks amazing, so grown up and bahu like, and happy).
Arjun is on the phone with the doctor. He asks to see all the reports of Arohi's physiotherapy. He tells the doctor he was thinking about sending those reports to a notable hospital. The doctor assures him it is no longer necessary, Arohi is fine. Arjun says he knows. He hangs up and notices DK is at the door. (sad music plays) DK comes and says his bank statement came. DK noticed there is very little money in his account so he came to give a check, put it in hsi account. Arjun says earler today someone tore a check like that on his face. he doesn't need it. DK says what rubbish? who tore a check. Arjun says the money in his account is over. He doesn't need the check but if he wants to give him something he can give him the salary for working in his office for past 6 years, which is half of that check. DK says what are you talking about? the company is yours. Arjun says when he pays a employee he looks at educational background and his work. By doing that Arjun's salary comes out to be 8 lakhs. That's all he wants. DK says 8 lakhs? that's how much they spend on two parties they throw, and that's what he wants? He says the whole business empire is your. Arjun says he know they spend 8-10 lakhs on two parites, but not him. If he wants to give something then take the check, change the amount and give it to me. Arjun leaves.
Arohi is sitting on the rocking chair thinking back to her last confrontation with Arjun. She remembers her challenge (awesome acting on her part) She opens her eyes all of a sudden drifiting back to reality, Purvi has brought the food. (chai and kachodi! yumm) Purvi talks about the weather outside, it is about to rain. She says remember we used to sit here in this balcony eating kachodi's and gossiping all day long, we didn;t even realize when time used to pass by. Arohi tries to smile but her eyes are really sad. Purvi says she knows she is sad, her eyes says it like always. Arohi says she challanged Arjun at that time but how will she ever fulfill it. She doesn't even know what's her dream and goal anymore. right at that moment on tv a girl says do you not know what your dream is, are you confused, not sure what to do. It's an ad for Singing India. They are calling for auditions in Mumbai. Purvi says God showed them this sign. This is her dream, to become a singer. Arohi is not convinced, she has stopped dreaming. Purvi encourages her.
Precap: Arohi calls her friend Ayesha in Mumbai, asking if she could stay with her. Ayesha says I am not stopping you from coming, but don't expect anything from me, I barely have time for myself. Sur and Antara ask what she said. Arohi is hesistant at first then say people are right, people change once they go to mumbai. She wouldn't go to Ayesha but she will definitely go to mumbai.
Episode rating: a 7! Nothing much happened, but it created a base. I liked the episode though. I can't wait to see what happens next. purvi's acting has improved, Arohi rocked her scene. They are so natural, I like the pace like she is having a hard time.
