Supposedly 'inspired' from: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Starring Akshay Kumar, Action Replay is about a man who undergoes a reverse-aging process. Warner Bros, the makers of Benjamin Button had recently threatened to sue anyone making a movie on the subject. Strangely though text of the original source (the film was adapted from a story) is now copyright free. And honestly Warner Bhais, we really didn't enjoy the movie so much.
Are we excited? No sir, doctors have advised us to stay off Akshay Kumar films for the next one year.

If you thought Priyadarshan could only remake South Indian language films, think again! The Billu director has set his heart on an Iranian movie called Children of Heaven. The movie that tells the story of the emotional bonding between siblings is to star Darsheel Safary.

21 has Kevin Spacey training a bunch of school kids ways the short cuts in the art of gambling. In Teen Patti Amitabh Bachchan supposedly steps into Spacey's shoes. Despite denials from the filmmakers denying any similarities there are strong rumours about parallels between the two. Teen Patti also stars R Madhavan, Raima Sen, Shakti Kapoor's daughter Shraddha, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley. Ambika Hinduja has produced this film.

This Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan starrer supposedly tells the story of two contemporary musician friends and their individual journeys. The movie is based on Amadeus a movie that revolved around the lives of Mozart and Antonio Salieri. If you're still reading this, SALMAN plays Mozart and Ajay Devgan plays Salieri. Now that's emosanal atyachar.

Joe Pesci plays a bumbling lawyer in a movie that has been ranked third in the list of 25 greatest legal movies in America. The Chopras who are making Banda Yeh Bindas Hai however claim that their film has nothing to do with Vinny. Currently they are responding to the lawsuit filed by 20th Century Fox. Hope they don't have someone like Vinny for a lawyer though'

Actually this one is a legitimate remake. Kjo has bought rights to the Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon-starrer film and has cast Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in it. What makes this casting even more special is that the two actresses will act together for the first time in eight years after K3G.

We'd probably give you a million bucks if you can pronounce the name of this film. Loosely translated as Three Times, the Taiwanese film is about a couple that moves through three different eras. This is Saif Ali Khan's first film as a producer. Imtiaz Ali directs it and stars Saif and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

Supposedly 'inspired' from: Serendipity
Starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale, Serendipity is about a couple who after a chance encounter leave it to fate to decide on their next meeting. The Hindi film stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor and is supposedly loosely based on Serendipity. Produced by Boney Kapoor, Satish Kaushik has directed the film that's been lying in the cans for the longest time.
Are we excited? Sure! This one's probably the last of Kareena and Shahid's film together.
Supposedly 'inspired' from: Lolita
This one is actually Lolita turned on its head. If rumours are to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit will come together to act in a movie that is being directed by Prakash Jha. While Madhuri's media manager denies any knowledge of the project, it is believed that the movie is very much on.
