In yesterday's episode jassi finally bid adieu to her child like innocence in a poigniant scene at temple. lots of pple must be v disappionted at why this happened. I think it was a natural progression if her character. jassi's innocence had always done more harm than good for her. whatever happened in gulmour was the result of her childlike nature which thrived in pleasing everyone around her. she made a lot of wrong decisions like faking balance sheets becuz she thought that by doing this she cld gain armaan's love. innocence is v dangerous if its without knowledge. In order to live in this world we have to be worldly wise and balance it with innocence. what ever that has happened to jassi today is the result of her wrong perceptions of life. she thought that by doing everything armaan and other pple of gulmour asked she cld gain their respect and love. she didn't know that pple only respect those who command respect and respect themselves. she has realised that in order to survive in this world she has to take off her rose coloured glasses and be practical. its all well said and done that a person sld live life on their own terms. but reality is v different. innocence only works if it comes with a higher stage of knowlegde. life can only be suceccfully lived if the two syncronised. This is the higher stage of innocence.
