I heard the song during today's episode where they showed Radhika, Dev and Vish all separately and compared Radhika and Vishaka to Meera & Radha. I found the full song with the translation and was wondering what the relevance of the song was...

It basically compares Radha's love for Krishna with Meera's devotion for him.

yes-I did not understand the relevance-Vishakha is neither radha nor meera!! so what was the relevance except it sounded good?

the song is from the movie "Ram teri ganga maili" ..veryy old movie....but it was irrelevant for this situation coz Vish is neither Radha or Meera, nor does she love Dev.. Radhika is both Meera and Radha for Dev !

I was thinking the same. The song was absolutely beautifull. But Vishakha is neither prem diwani, or darash diwani

I don't think its a comparison per se. Vish fits not in that description.

The song was apt for the setting they were in. But i was thinking the commparison was of Meera and Radha because it was a point of consideration for Devki. In her eyes her two daughters are now Radha and Meera. Tho we know Vish is far from Radha.. or Meera.. the point at which the song came was when Devki just found out all the truth and now had to deliberate what she is going to do for which daughter.

it was now she learned that Dev never loved Vish.. but in Devki's eyes (tho i don't know why she is so dense) Vish loves her husband or wants to be in her husband's life. So the choice is between Radha and Meera and who's love is greater and who deserves to have Kanha in their life.. and this deliberation must have been for Devki's heart.. who she'll side with as a mother.

Thats what i got out of the song yesterday. Thankfully the woman realizes its Rads who should get all the rights.

Beautiful song btw, i loved it. I am a fan of Meera just as much as i love Kanha. I am in love with Meera's love for Kanha.

I think the show was showing Radika as both. Radha and meera. For him she is Radha and for her she is Meera. That is what Devki was probably thing that Radika is Radha for Dev and for Radika she is just Meera for Dev. I do not think Vishika fits in the song at all. I also think before Devki says anything she will either die or Amma will shut her up. There is no way Rads and Dev will end up together this fast. I think they are heading towards people talking bad about their relationship just like how Meera got badnami because of her love and devotion to Kahna.
