I can understand that Terence was angry that people are voting not based on performances. Though, I would have liked him to raise his voice when other good contestants were voted out.
The comment of his that pissed me off was that people vote based on not only region but, depending on which caste you belong to. I would like to ask Terence, if you think that people in India vote based of caste then, how come Salman came to the top 3 so many times and others like Jai kept on coming to the bottom 3. He talked about voting for performance and personality. This is so not done. I really admire Terence for his honesty and simplicity and he inspires me to be a better person but, I was really shocked that he would say something like that. Very difficult for me to digest. Sorry.

I'm yet to watch this but man I can't believe it.

But that's totally wrong! If Indians really did vote based on caste then Jai would be #1 every week cos Nair's are an upper caste (I think?) and then if that really was the case then how come salman topped votes consecutively?
People DO vote based on region but its bad to generalise an entire population! Like I said before, if that was the case then karunya wouldn't be where he is today.
It's sad and maybe such things occur in a very small minority but I really don't think its right to generalise. If it was even 10% of the population I would understand but i'm dead sure its not even that much!

Yeah I agree.
It was the limit, how can he say such a thing, salman has been voted in top three several times then his caste wasn't a question? And that personality thing really pissed me off, seems like he favors personality based voting.
As for last week perfomance, Salman wasn't the best last week, not in his solo and neither in the masakali act. Infact Alisha was more prominent despite it being his forte and yeah if he had atleast tried to show a effort to do LAP he wouldn't be in red zone (if Jai could do it he could try too).
So sorry Terrence Sir but your claim is absolutely baseless.

Well out of all judges Terence has remained the most unbiased judge till date. he has reprimanded his own contestants from his team before others. Even during the Locking and Popping challenge between Jai, Siddhesh and Prince like the other two judges he didnt defend and praise his own team contestant Jai but congratulated all of them and pointed out Jai's mistakes so may be sometimes certain mistakes are bound to happen and in a way its not fair that Salman and Khushboo were in the red zone after such good performances! :-(

im a bit surprised at terence reaction but i think he was just shocked like everyone else that salman was in the red zone. he doesn't deserve to be there... and honestly religious/regional voting does happen...sorry geeta maa..you pointed out that if regional voting was true then sunita would have the higest vote...but its because of this regional voting that she's even in the competition!

You know, what I feel that everyone missed the main point why Salman was in bottom 3 this week. To me, it was because all the other boys got to perform an extra dance number (L & P), while Salman didn't get that chance. So, instead of bashing the public who has loved Salman and kept him safe for so many weeks, I would have liked Terence to realise that. To me, it was Remo's fault and not the public. It is the public who has voted for Salman week after week. Where was the caste point was not pointed out when he was coming in the top 3?
I agree there are still people who vote and prefer people from their own castes but, to me India is a very fair country when it comes to talent. His 400 years ago thing was too harsh. To me, its an Indian show and the mentors are Terence Lewis, Remo D'souza and Geeta Kapoor proves that Indians do respect talent and don't get people based on caste.
I always agreed to Terence and was so happy that a person as nice as him exists but, today it didn't work out for me. In fact, I felt that in an effort to be trying to be fair to Salman, he was being unfair to the other contestants who are also talented.

i m a big Jai Kumar Nair fan n i did not like Terence raising his voice against Salman's getting into red zone for the very first time, n no reaction, nothing at all when Jai has been almost always sitting in the red zone even after exceptionally phenomenal performances every week.
i dont like any of the judges now...not even terence. no more 'gud Terence' for me.
:)
PS: and again....what's up with no grand salute for Jai this time too??
