K-L did NOT stay the night. They explained to the villagers that they were in a hurry and needed to leave immediately (remember, the clock is ticking), and so the lame villager took them to the well, where they filled a pot with water and took it to the baba. What surprised me was them leaving the pot there.

On Vandevi, you missed out the part about her feeding the ducks - she said that ever since they left, all the birds and animals seemed to have gone away (does that mean that when K-L finally returned to Ayodhya, those creatures would leave the forest and move into an urbane setting - with Rama's fishes maybe?)😆

There is a cliche in the US - "When you get to a fork in the road, take it". I guess Hanuman never heard of that one😆

Shiv's leela? And if the boys are in trouble, then it is vidhi ka vidhan even if Shiv himself creates the trouble.

Why did Hanuman have to ask Shiv which way to go? Is Shiv creating illusion this time?

Is Hanuman playing God? With his maya, he is creating river, river god, mountains, rakshasas, village, city together with people and houses. And is he not missing his Lord Ram from whom he is separate for so many days? He has power to create such big illusions, but he does not know that Luv and Kush are the sons of his Lord.

Shiv's leela? The way they showed the villagers ready to worship K-L, one could be forgiven for thinking that it was K-L's leela😆

Not only is Hanuman creating rivers, yakshas, rakshashas, parents, kids, et al - he even shut's Kush's eye's and takes on himself the rakshashas he's created😕🤔 And if he's testing them, what's the point in giving the rakshasha a disloyal wife? In real life, one isn't likely to run into traitors in your enemy ranks, so why insert that here?

As for Hanuman not figuring out who K-L were, that was probably another vidhan working on him while he's busy executing other vidhans. If one is playing pool, one can sometimes get an odd stripe in the pocket instead of a solid.
