6 May update - Chakrasur is killed

Chakrasur - You dare to challege Chakrasur?
On Chakrasur's order, his soldiers catch Kush.
Chakrasur - Who are you?
Kush - I can get you the conch-shell. The conch is not where you are searching.
Chakrasur - What proof do you have?
Kush - Dig this wall, you will find a statue of a deity.
On Chakrasur's orders, his demon soldiers dig the wall and find a statue.
Chakrasur - Oh you know everything!
Kush - I know where the conch is, but you must accept my condition if you want the conch. After you have got the conch, you have to fre all these boys.
Chakrasur things - Let me get the conch. Then I will sacrifice all of you.
He says - OK, I will free all of them.

Later Luv asks Kush why he did not go.
Kush - How could I go leaving you here? This demon cannot harm us. But why are you so much afraid? You never feared anybody.
Luv - Bhaiya, you do not know but Chakrasur is very cruel. If he does not get the conch, then he will kill all of you.
Kush - Luv, remember the day when all others used to get afraid in the forest, then it was you who gave them courage. Only because of you, we all used to get courage.
Luv hugs Kush.

Chakrasur's wife comes there.
She says - Children, great is the mother who gave birth to you two. I am sure that you two brother will rid the Earth of the fear of Chakrasur.

Chakrasur is praying to the staute of some demon king Bhayasur (what a name).
Chakrasur - O demon king Bhayasur, by your blessing, I am soon going to get the conch. After worshipping the conch, only I will be feared in the whole world. I and all my companions will become immortal.
Kush comes there.
Chakrasur - What happened? You had gone to bring the conch?
Kush - I need help of your people.
Chakrasur - Ok, take them with you, but do not play any trick with Chakrasur.
Kush - Do not worry, Chakrasur.
While saying this, Kush raised his hand as if he was giving blessings.

Kush is ordering the demons.
Kush - If you want your master to get the conch, then start digging.
The demons do the same.
They talk among themselves - What has happened to Chakrasur? He is making us search for the conch and that too with children? The greed for the conch has corrupted his mind.
Kush - Hurry, otherwise I will tell the demon king that you are not searching for the conch.
The demons search. After some time, they get tired.
Demons - We need water.
Kush - No, until you have found the conch, you will not get anything. Do not delay, otherwise the auspicious moment will be out.
Demons find a conch.
Kush - As of now, this conch is of no use. Give it to me.
Demons - We will give it only to our king.
Kush - This conch can be used only after I have blown into it myself. Before that if anybody uses it, then there will be fire out of the conch and all of you will be burnt.
Demons give the conch to Kush. Luv and Chakrasur's wife come there. Kush signals the boys and the boys throw rocks over the demons. One demon is hiding behind a tree. He sees everything and goes to report to Chakrasur.
Luv - Bhaiya, if you had not come...
Kush - How could I not? We have to get swarn kamal.
Luv - What is there in this conch that Chakrasur is ready to do anything to get it?
Chakrasur's wife - This is not any ordinary conch. My father had charged it with mantras. If anybody blows into it, then his desires are fulfilled. Chakrasur wants to make Bhayasur happy. We have to make sure that Chakrasur does not get this conch.
Luv - Do not worry. We will not let Chakrasur even touch this conch.

Chakrasur is talking to himself - I will get that conch. Then I will wake up Bhayasur. After that I will rule over the whole world.
That demon who was hiding behind the tree comes.
Demon - Maharaj, the conch has been found but that boy has killed all our soldiers. That boy is no ordinary boy.
Chakrasur - Where is the conch?
Demon - With Maharani.
Chakrasur - That boy cheated Chakrasur. I will kill him.

Chakrasur's wife is praying to the conch. Chakrasur comes there.
Chakrasur moves to stop his wife from completing the puja. Luv and Kush try to stop him. He pushes Luv and Kush. They fall. Chakrasur takes up a weapon and before he can kill his wife, Kush picks up the conch and blows into it. The Earth starts shaking as if there is an Earth quake. Chakrasur falls down dead.
Chakrasur's wife - Lord Shiv's blessings are with you two that you could kill such a cruel demon.
Kush sees Hanuman, who is disguised.
Kush - What are you doing here?
Hanuman - I do not want to go with you.
Luv and Kush take all the boys with them and go.
Hanuman thinks - I also should leave now. Luv and Kush, you have passed this test.

Precap shows one green rakshas coming out a mountain.
Why again a rakshas? Is test of fear not complete? Or is that rakshas related to greed?

Bhayasura? But if he is praying to him, shouldn't he be 'Bhayadeva'? Oh, well, one more case of me trying to makes sense of this vidhan of Mr V

At least, the ending didn't involve either Hanuman or Kush killing him, but simply the statue of Bhayasura falling on him (reminds me of Scott Adams' Dilbert cartoon where Dilbert's ego and insecurity are both personified by 2 giant sized Dilberts, and when Dilbert's ego grows too big and threatens the peace of the house, Dilbert or Dogbert - I forget which - ask the ego to confront the personified Mr Insecurity, who is far bigger than the ego. Mr Ego is crushed by Mr Insecurity falling on him - similar to how Bhayasura fell on Chakrasura. If any of you are unfamiliar with Dilbert, I apologize, but this parallel was just too glaring to go un-noticed. But hey Khalrika & Chen2, I don't mind if Ramayan stories are now issued from Pleasanton, since they are already importing stuff from the jataka tales, folk stories and the like - why not Dilbert? Mr Vidhi is Dogbert 🤣🤣🤣)

Akhl's last question is exactly what occured to me. But then again, Hanuman ain't the adjudicator - Mr Vidhi is, and he communicates that decision telepathically to Mahadev, who then issues orders to Hanuman accordingly. Last time Hanuman wanted to pass them, Mahadev overruled him. So just b'cos Hanuman thinks they've passed it doesn't mean that it's good for Mr V, so the reward for passing this fear test is probably another fear test.🤣🤣🤣

I'm still wondering - did they conflate moh and greed, or are they still 2 separate entities? I'd have thought that fear was a bigger demon (metaphorically speaking more than figurative) to handle than greed - for greed, one just has to be uninterested in any temptation that lies ahead.

Maybe for the greed tests (if we come to them this week), they can take K-L to the NYSE and show them the Dow, NASDAQ and S&P figures from 2000, and tempt them to invest at those rates before fast forwarding them to 2009. K-L will need some quality home financiers, appraisers and lenders in order to get over that one🤣

This is a role that Dogbert could really refine - that's one more thing they could lift off Dilbert.

Hey Ananya, Mr Vidhi is Dogbert, not Dilbert! Or better still, Mr Vidhi is Catbert, and Hanuman is Dogbert, since Catbert tries to torment Dilbert at work, and Dogbert gets Dilbert out of trouble (only difference from Hanuman is that Dogbert serves himself generously along the way)

Actually, I'm getting to the point where I only want to see these adventures, and no longer want to watch anything as banal as K-L learning how to sing or divya-astras, their singing in Ayodhya, Sita's passing or Rama's passing or anything like that. I've long given up the idea that I've been watching the Ramayan, and have totally adjusted to the new storyline, even though I hate it being called Ramayan for the same reasons as Khalrika & Chen2.
