what is the rules of advertising in IF? can i post url links on signature? plz tell me so that i don't get banned for my foolishness

if its your personal page link(site/fansite) then its allowed otherwise the ones solely belonging to other sources are not allowed:)

yes its my own fan forum. I hope I am not advertising, I kept the url address in a decent way; its not like I am forcing anyone to join

No, promoting any other forums is not allowed in your signature box.
Only sites for fan art, fan fictions, blogs, etc, where it is just a personal site is allowed.
