Are TV makeovers really necessary?

Makeovers give characters a fresh look. Also, drastic makeovers like Jassi's
make room for a new twist in the tale. I'm waiting eagerly to know how the new Jassi looks like.

The script demanded a makeover only at this point. I've heard about other makeovers on TV. It's flattering if Jassi's makeover had an impact.

The makeover was needed to carry forward the revenge theme.

Kulraj Randhawa, Kareena in Kareena Kareena
Makeovers make characters more interesting, adding a new dimension to them.

Shama Sikander, Pooja in Ye Meri Life Hai
The script decides the look of a character. Makeovers are add-ons, and the audience has more to look forward to.

Does that mean that they wanna prove that there is no place for ugly people in this world ?

noooooooo you silly goose, they are just trying to say that....hmmmm...what are they trying to say??? (frowning) I dunnoo...but Ekta is not one whom I would take makeover lessons from or any lessons for that matter. 🤢
