| "Desserts and chocolate just pep me up anytime."
The one aroma that comes to your mind when you are hungry? The first thing that crosses my mind when I am hungry is the smell of Pani Puri. I just can't resist them. Apart from that I am a very noodles girl. I love the dish since my childhood. A snack you always carry with you? I prefer to be on the healthy side, so I carry some fruits or may have some egg white depending on where I am. Which is your most important meal of the day? It is breakfast. It has anything and everything. But the problem is that I cannot eat the same thing every morning. So, it changes every ten days – I vary between egg-whites and cereals and loads of fruits. Or maybe Idli at times. The food you crave when you are depressed? I am an out and out chocolate girl. Desserts and chocolate just pep me up anytime. My favourite is mocha as it has chocolate. What's on your wishlist when you are the happiest? Like I just said, chocolate is responsible for all my mood swings. Dark chocolate tempts me a lot. Just the smell of chocolate excites me. Your most memorable meal? Well, the most memorable is the one I had with my Class X batch of friends. We were all sure we'd never meet again, since we'd be going different ways. We'd limited money between us, but still we tried to have whatever we wanted. I still cherish that meal. A dish that you have cooked for a loved one? I just know how to make noodles and omelette. And yes, I remember when I had learnt to make tea, I wanted to brew it for my family. I was so excited at being able to make it that I put in too much tea leaves and it turned bitter. A cuisine you've heard about and are keen to sample? Oh, I'd love to try the Kashmiri cuisine. I have heard of the wide range of Kebabs and tandoori dishes they have to offer. I have to find out an outlet some time soon to try it out. The most outrageous food you may have come across? Cockroaches and centipedes that my friends have had in Bangkok. It's so eeky Your favourite from your mom's kitchen? My mom makes yummy Pau Bhaji and I love the way she prepares the typical Gujrati thal. And yes, how can I forget her Kheer? |
