You are right Opti,

That day and that scene will be one worth the wait ..

However coming back to the point that you have made, I dont think Hiten thought that DM would behave SOLELY like a malik that day .. I am sure he expected the father in him to speak atleast once but he himself gave him no chance to do that when he refused to speak up later !

I think DM authoritative tone indicated that he was going to be the Malik that day. Hiten did not give him a chance because he did not think there was any. I still dont think Hiten understands his father's true feelings for him. Would'nt fault him for it if his father rarely shows it. Whatever be the case, I really love the father-son relationship even if it may not look ideal from the outside. The amount of love and regard these two have for each other and still keep hiding it from each other tugs at one's heart strings.

Yes .. .

The highlight was when Hiten termed DM-Santo's marraige as disgusting and as a business transaction or bid and walked out , but still defended DM when Jagmohan and V-RAT tried to provoke and instigate him against the father ..

I guess they agree on the more important things in life :)

It is not for nothing they say that blood is thicker than water and as far as DM and Hiten go, it is really really thick. Hiten is the one son DM can always count on in times of need.

Yes ..

Remember DM's dialogue to Maulik.. in his anger, he spoke the truth, the things that he never reveals .. he said -

Hiten is my true son .. who has the guts to stand up for what he has done and look me in the eye ..

Beautifully summed up .. DM loves Hiten for taking after him!

That is the million dollar question. Indian society is not always fair when it comes to the status of women. Marrying one's maternal uncle is notconstrued wrong in some communities even if that uncle isher mother's own brother but I doubt marryingthe sister of one's step mother will be considered on the same footing. It's like an 18 year old man marrying a 50 year old woman. Now is that acceptable? Clearly not, but here an 18 year old is shown to have married a 50 year old man and people are more willing to accept that and are hoping that their relationship succeeds.

Am really waiting for the start of their LOVE STORY 😳 😳
