I and my husband admire Sonu Nigam's musical talent. It gives us much happiness to watch his true commitment to finding really good singers.

Another observation: Sonu Nigam is far superior than most established singers of this time. Only one singer (of Fame Gurukul), i.e., Arijit Singh has the talent & training to compete with Sonu Nigam in the future. Infact, I hope, someday they will together be in the league of the "Greatest Singers" of India. I consider Arijit Singh to be the best (male singer) find of the currently running reality shows, including Indian Idol, Fame Gurukul, and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. He has incredible range, versitality, and control on 'sur', and his voice is original and beautiful. It is such a delight to see 18 year old Arijit sing some of the most complex songs with such flow and ease.

glad to read your observation .Though many ppl will not accept it at the moment but his verstality and the range will be proved with time.I hope luck and time supports him.

Well I am a gr8 Sonu Nigam Fan 2 which must be evident from my ID.U r right he is the best singer of his times and the most committed and hard-working singer in the industry.Music is his life and he cannot bear the insult of music.He is extremely sincere in his efforts,whatever he does.HE IS THE BEST
But frankly I dont think Arijit can compete with him coz his range is not that wide.He was the best of FG 4 sure.I believe Rahul Vaidya of Indian Idol-I 2 b the best find of any talent search.And as far as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is concerned,Vinit,Himani,Nihira and Hemachandra are gr8 singers 👏

sonu nigam fans 😛 ,i can leave any fanclub for that,ya hes the gr8est singer,along with udit,and arijit is not that gud anyway,bcoz sonu came at earlier age but was just perfect even then,arijit lacks a bit of feel,rest hes also perfect but no comparison to sonu,any1

well in my opinion, comparing Sonu to Arijit at this stage is kinda too early .. Coz Sonu has had far more experience in singing movie songs .. whereas Arijit has always been trained in classical music .. I am sure a lot of you who know music will agree it is not the same thing ... It does take time .. a lot of practice and determination ... And he has all the determination .. It's not easy to make a move outta the house at that young age in to such a hug field where there is only uncertainity !

This boy only at the age of 18 has already done wonders .. Getting compliments for people like Pt.Jasrag ji and Sonu Nigam himself is a great deal in itself ..

About Rahul Vadiya, yes very rightly pointed out that he does have a great voice .. very similar to Sonu's ... That's his voice quality .. which is very soothing to the ears and makes it pleasant ... he has been in Mumbai for years and I dun think he has learnt classical music as such .. but Lite music ... I may be wrong .. or he might have learnt both ...
that definitely puts him on a edge ...

Anyways, I feel that Arijit has all the potential to make it big .. I am sure he will live up to many of our expectations ...
