I do not know why people get so pressurized to get their daughters married as soon as they find one suitable proposal for them. What is the pressure? If you bring up your children up well then there should be total confidence in the fact that they will find the right person for themselves.

Traditionally India is a country where arranged marriages are the way of life, but the right age and education completion should be given due importance not merely the fact that when the right proposal comes thru the marriage should happen. Poor Phooli, this is the second time she is being made to bite the bait by her mother, masi and father.......😭

Educated people do this too to their children, but only once they complete a certain amount of education...........

When will they learn?😳

actually its a really difficult situation...after being cursed and hated at such a young age due to no fault of her own phuli is getting another shot at life. seeing the fact that even a 40+ widower basant's mom didnt want a widow for her son i guess phuli is lucky. esp looking at the situation from her parents pov given the fact their exposure to life has been restricted to village life. for them being able to marry off their widowed daughter to a decent boy wud be a huge relief. afterall by the time she completes her studies all boys of her age wud prolly have 2-3 kids. so wud she get a decent groom then? or wud she land up with a much older guy like gehna?
but then again it wud be a child marriage and she would once again lose out on her studies and prolly will be a young/dead mother soon. im still wondering what wud be right....
