||Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayi|| Meet One Shot

I felt super inspired after seeing the awesome scene between Prem and Preet tonight and so I wanted to show in my head how Meet were after it happened, obviously the atmosphere in this one shot got a little light in the middle, but I couldn't help it! *hides face* It's hard to write Preet as the angry/sad young man, so please let me know how it was. Since it's a Meet shot, as always dedicated to Radz and Bhav, and Shabo! 😃 Who have made me fall totally in love with their jodi!😳😃

Preet rushes into his room and collapses on the bed, while Meher walks in after him.

"Tum theek ho?" Meher asks, putting her hand on his shoulder.

He takes her hand off his shoulder and holds it in his. "Maine unhe kitna samjaya! Woh kyun nahi maan rahe?"

"Iss waqt Preet, Prem jiju sirf Ma ke baare mein soch rahe hain," Meher says. "Woh thode dino main tumhari baat samajh jayenge,"

"Aur agar nahin samjhe to?" Preet looks up into her eyes, his tears threatening to spill out. "Kya hoga is ghar ka? Bilkul barbad hojayenge hum sab. Sirf or sirf ma ki zid ki wajhe se,"

Meher sits down on the bed next to Preet. "Kuch nahin hoga. Tumhe aapne bhai par vishwas hain na?"

"Meher—" Preet puts his hand on her mouth. "Agar kal ko ma mujhe bhi kehde ke main tumhe ghar se nikal do to?"

Meher attempts to smile and takes his hand off her mouth. "Aisa agar hoga na Preet, to main tumhare faisle ka intezaar bhi nahin karungi. Main chali jaongi," She stands up to go shut the blind, but Preet's grip on her get's tighter as he pulls her back.

"Yehi faraq hai mujhme aur Prem bhaiyya mein...main tumhe jaane nahin dunga," Preet says looking deep into her eyes.

"Kyun nahi Preet? Agar ma ne kaha—" Meher starts to says but Preet shakes his head.

"Ma AGAR aisa kahegi, to jo ho so ho, main tumhe nahin jaane dunga," He puts both his hands on her face. "Badi muskhilo ke baad—" He stops himself.

"Badi muskhil ke baad kya Preet?" Meher asks slowly.

Preet turns around not wanting to look into her eyes. "Kuch nahin Meher,"

"Preet," Meher puts her hand on his shoulder. "Kuch dino se mere dil mein ek sawal tha,"

"Kya sawal?" Preet asks without turning.

"Iss waqt in sab baaton ka waqt bhi nahin hain, lekin ab main aapne aap ko rokh nahin paongi,"

"Meher bolo na, kya baat hain," Preet finally turns around to face her and sees her cheeks flushed pink.

Meher knew this was ultimately the first time for this conversation, yet somewhere deep in her heart, the minute Preet had taken her hand to go to Prem's room she had known everything would be alright. However once they got there, and Prem didn't pay any heed to Preet's talk, she had to admit it had stung, and she wasn't sure now that this would be the right thing to say now.

"Kya—tum, jaane do," she turns around and walks back towards the bed.

She was confusing him. Did she need to say something important? He wanted to know, but she was being hesitant. He goes to her and kneels down in front of where she was sitting and puts both his hands back on her face. "Meher—kya baat hain?"

His voice made her tingle down to her toes. She wanted to know if this would last, after everything he said to her tonight she felt it was the right time to ask, but she didn't want him to think she was being all pushy. Finally she let out her breath. "Kya tum—Ash ko abhi bhi—"

Preet sighs. He knew this was coming. Ever since their mutual marriage that was more friendship than anything, he had been wondering how long till she asked him this question. In all honesty ever since he had suggested to Meher to get married he had stopped thinking about Ashlesha that way. Without a doubt she'd be someone special in his life for the eternity of his life, but now; life was different. Meher was his wife, his friend, his confidante who supported him with everything. Now was his chance to repay her. "Nahin Meher—ab nahi."

Was that relief he caught in her eyes. He knew she was thinking something she didn't want him to know. That could be seen from the glint in her eyes.

Meher was happily relieved. She could feel these feelings now without worrying about the aftermath. Preet would be there with her now. Forever, but yet it never hurt to ask. "Preet—kya tum—main?"

This brought his smile back on his face. "Tum kya kehna chathi ho Meher?"

"Main—" She hides her face in her hands. "Mfhg tudkjgs pyhasf gksrt hond," she mutters out to him.

This was even more jumbled up than the language Tannu sometimes spoke. What was Meher trying to say? He had never seen her so embarrassed in his life. He took her hands away from her face and smiled. "Ab bolo,"

"Main nahi keh sakhti," Meher whines.

"Kyun?" Preet asks, clearly amused now.

"Aapni ankhein band karo," Meher commands.

Preet raises his eyebrow but still closes his eyes.

"Main tumse—" he could hear her voice closer to him now as she whispered three words that made his heart beat 100x faster, "..pyar karti hoon,"

There. She said it. Biting her lip she waited for his reaction. Slowly even before opening his eyes, she notices his lips curling up into the smile that made her weak in the knees.

"Pehle nahi kaha?" Preet asks his eyes still closed.

"Tum ghussa ho?" She asks, not knowing why she chose this exact moment.

"Preet!" Kulraaj burst through their door, without knocking.

"Kul di? Kya baat hain?" Preet immediately got up from his position by the foot of the bed and went to his sister.

"Tune Prem se kya baat kari woh main nahin jaanti, lekin kaam hogaya!" She beams at both him and Meher. "Woh Heer ko wapas lene gaya hain,"

"Saach di?" Meher asks coming and holding her other hand.

Kulraaj nods. "Aaj main garv se keh sakhti hoon, ke tu hi mera bhai hain," She caresses Preet's head.

"Woh to main hoon hi di," Preet winks at her.

She smiles and thanks him again before leaving.

Meher grins up at Preet who smiles back at her. "Mujhe yakeen nahi ho raha,"

"Kyun? Meri baaton pe vishwas nahi tha?" Preet teases.

"Aisi baat nahin hai Preet," Meher smiles at him as she walks back to her position on the bed.

Preet looks at her sitting there like the angel she was, and goes back to sit down next to her. "Main bhi,"

"Tum bhi kya? Khush ho?" Meher asks confused.

He shakes his head. "Main bhi—tumse, pyar." He smiles at her.

"Sach?" Meher asks.

He nods as he wraps his arms around her. "Jab yeh rishta baana tha, tab hum dono kya jaante the ke kya se kya hoga humare beech mein na?"

Meher nods into his chest. "Main tumse bahot pyar karti hoon Preet,"

"Main bhi tumse pyar karta hoon Meher," He holds her even closer, never wanting to let go.

*cringes* I didn't proof it at all, I was just in some sort of hurry to post it! 😊 Do let me know how it was!😳

And this was brilliant. I loved the way it started, with them talking about the situation, and the way he told her he'd never let her leave. That was brilliantly written! Awww I'm so glad you liked the way it started, yup, I figured Preet is that type, he wouldn't let her go! 😳

Yes, it got a little lighthearted in the middle, which felt a little out of place, but *squees* who cares? Meher admitted she loved him! *dances* And Preet said it back, AND Prem's gone to get Heer back. how much more perfect could things get? *sighs dreamily* Thank you for agreeing with me! 😃 Ahhh yeah I'm glad you liked how 'perfect' it was....I was going to add more with Prem Heer but I figured that'd make it too long, and I have an idea for a Premeer one tomorrow maybe!😳
