In an industry where stability is often mistaken for success, Kanika Maheshwari has never allowed comfort to define her journey. From her impactful presence in 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' to her recent venture 'Seher Hone Ko Hai', Kanika continues to evolve not just as an actor, but as an individual who believes in surrendering to the flow of life while constantly expanding her horizons.
“I have surrendered myself to the universe,” Kanika shares with a calm conviction. “It’s just like batting you don’t chase every ball, you wait for the right one. When the ball comes, I’ll hit it. That’s how I see growth now. It’s not forced, it’s not rushed… it’s aligned.”
For Kanika, stepping beyond comfort is not a risk, but a necessity. “Comfort can feel beautiful, but it can also quietly limit you if you let it. I’ve realized that growth begins the moment you step outside what feels familiar. And for me, that growth is not just about acting it’s about life in its entirety.”

She opens up about how her perspective has shifted over time. “There’s so much more to life than just one profession. I’ve consciously started exploring different fields, different experiences, even different places. Traveling, meeting new people, understanding cultures all of this shapes you. I don’t want to be boxed into one identity.”
With Seher Hone Ko Hai, Kanika embraced a creative challenge, but her journey goes far beyond the screen. “As an actor, of course I want to keep pushing myself creatively. But at the same time, I’m also growing in spaces that people may not always see. When you evolve as a person, it automatically reflects in your work. You become more real, more layered.”

Kanika also speaks candidly about the discomfort that comes with growth. “Growth is not easy. It asks you to unlearn, to start again, to be a beginner. And that can feel unsettling. But I find beauty in that process. The moment you think you know everything, that’s where your growth ends and I never want to reach that point.”

Ending on a deeply reflective note, she says, “I want to keep discovering myself in different roles, different places, and different phases of life. I don’t want to control everything anymore. I trust the timing, I trust the process. Comfort may feel safe, but growth gives you depth, purpose, and a much bigger vision of who you’re meant to become.”
