 Even though Sonam Kapoor is now one of the hottest newcomers in Bollywood known not only for her lineage and films but also for her impeccable fashion sense, not much has changed on the home front.It's papa Anil's diktat at home. Recently, Anil got very upset with Sonam because she returned home somewhat late. A source said, "When it comes to his children, Anil Kapoor is a disciplinarian and has set rules and regulations for them. And the obedient children always abide by them. But recently Sonam reached home at about 4 a.m., after an outing with her friends. This did not go down too well with her dad and he reprimanded her and imposed a penalty - that she be grounded at home for the next one month, barring her professional commitments. And the child has taken the punishment without any protest." Elaborating on the strict code of conduct that Anil has laid out for his children, our source said, "Sonam is always guarded by two security escorts wherever she steps out of the house. Anil knows the ways of the industry and is very protective of his girl." Sonam neither confirmed nor denied the story saying, "I am always on time." Anil Kapoor, who was out of country, remained unavailable for comment. |
