Episode starts with brothers walking down stairs and it's all dark. They all are wondering why there is no light. When they walk to living room, Sadanand turns on lights. The room is slightly decorated with lights and couches are moved away. Ma comes in and asks what is all this, and Sadanand asks them to sit down as the show is about to start. Rajeshwari and Jalpa dance to "Om Shanti Om." The brothers and ma enjoys their performance. Rajeshwari announces that now the oldest bahu will come to receive her crown. Manjula comes in with Alpa and Parul and bhais are confuse. Gautam asks wasn't it supposed to be after 2 days? All bhabhis reply saying this was just rehearsal. Alpa says we want this to become a trend for every generation follows to make it a function when handing over the keys. All bhai agree that this was a very good and new idea. Manjula says that Rajeshwari and Jalpa have been rehearsing day and night to make the function special and memorable. Gautam says that you were already good today, we can't wait till the actual function because we know you guys will do something real special. Manjula says that since they worked this hard they deserve special gift from you guys. Bhais look at each other, and mom says that whoever performs the best that night, I will reward her 5 lakhs. Everyone is shocked at the price. All bhabhis are each discussing with their husband at what they should perform, and husbands are teasing them.
Bhakti is praying when she hears Mohan sleep talking. He is sweating and saying ma over and over. Bhakti wakes him up. He says ma isn't happy. Bhakti asks him to clear what he saw but he doesn't remember anything. He says that we know the truth but ma doesn't and after getting keys, I don't know what will bhabhis do to her. If he tries to tell ma, she won't believe him. He says he has to do something that ma will get alert without declaring it to bhabhis that they know.
After all the discussions, they all gather again in the living room. All bahus are throwing idea at what they should perform, and Manjula asks ma to decide for the best play for them to act on. Ma suggests Mahabharat as a play. Manjula says that she would like to involve Bhakti and Mohan in the play as well. Mukesh gets mad saying that because of ma they already have asked him to stay back and invited to the ceremony, now they all want him to b involved in play as well. Manjula says that this will be the last time he can be involved with family function, after all he will leave afterwards. Gautam says that he agrees with Mukesh and to keep Mohan away from the play. Manjula tells Gautam to let ma decide. Ma says she doesn't mind. All bhais are upset and bhabhis are smiling.
Mohan is sitting to look at a file but he is not paying attention, Bhakti is sad looking at this. Bhabhis show up and say how they are so much upset with him leaving. Alpa says that since Manjula bhabhi heard this, she can't stop crying. Manjula tells them that all she wants is for them to be happy regardless where they live. Manjula tells them that family members have decided to take part in play for ceremony and she would like for both of them to be involved as well. Alpa says that this will be the last function before they leave, and there will be lots of pictures taken. This way they can look at the pictures when they miss them. Mohan agrees, Bhakti is shocked by him but smiles.
Bhabhis are in room, Alpa is getting happy saying we didn't had to fuss over Mohan, he agreed right away without having to convince him. Parul says that they always get trappend in our nataks, and this time they will be trapped in Mahabharat. Jalpa says that she doesn't understand why they involved them when the price money is so much. What if Bhakti's Ladoo Gopal does some magic and they win. Alpa says that winning is far from topic, because the way their plot will make Mohan and Bhakti be hated by everyone of family members. They will be thrown out of the house and will never return. Jalpa asks how will this happen. Rajeshwari says that this game is played by Manjula bhabhi who is not only the oldest player but also knows everyone moves before she plays.
Bhakti asks Mohan why he agreed to act in a play even after knowing the truth about bhabhis. She is afraid that this might be a very deep trick they will get played in. Mohan says that sometimes we have to get involved in a theif's gang to know their motives. This is the only way we can reply to them and alert mom at the same time. This is the only chance we will have to stop them from doing anything wrong before we move out.
precap: Alpa is telling Rajeshwari that she has to take ma's jewelry and while they are involved in play, she has to put them in one of Bhakti's boxes. After the function, ma will go and inspect their boxes and find her lost jewelry. She will kick them house right at that moment.
