New Controversy: Aishwarya vs. Sonam

When we reported that Sonam Kapoor was doing a skin whitening ad that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was first considered for, Ash's spokesperson sent us a retort which said that Ash hadn't been replaced and as principle would never endorse any fairness cream.

But look what someone mailed us a picture of Ash endorsing the same skin whitening ad by the same company that Sonam is now the face for (and also an international soap endorsed by Ash speaks of similar skin whitening agents). The thing about the past is, just when you think it's dead and buried it comes out to bite you in the rear.

I know it was proved that someone photoshopped Aishwarya Rai's picture and created a fake advt. and the thread was locked yesterday upon request.

Another interesting point is that, before Loreal, Ash also did an advertisement for the LUX, which is on the same lines like Whitening one..Lux one is called "White Glow." The point here should be whether Ash PR should have made those tall claims about how Ash avoids supporting Fairness cream....

In bollywood where people have fragile egos..never rub them the wrong way...eg.Kareena struggled for years because of her probelms with K.Jo,Abhi,Hrithik-she lost out on many plum projects..Priyanka has problems with Sallu and Akki..and now she is in a dilemma about what films to sign..


Sonam is getting some poor advice about her career strategy or she is not listening.

The media and the adoring fans watching can only help her when a film is about to release...At other times what can the do..They cant direct or produce films for her or get some hotshot actor to act opposite her.



I will bend my rules only for Shahrukh(The other stars must be devastated🤔)..Kajol blah blah..Abhishekh has done 30 films already and made some bad choices😲).Amitabh is wrong about SDM.etc..

last year when Aditya Chopra,Rakesh Roshan,Shimit Amin etc retorted back...and it was embarassing.

This year the Emma P.R. with Abhay Deol(immediately shouted down by Abhay..who other wise never talks).."Come on Pappu" ...Now there was a chance she could have spoken out and got some brownie points..But David Dhawan ruined it for her..

Sonam ..has to rethink her strategy and reinvent herself as an actor who wants to work and work hard(The others are working till they literally drop)- to be the biggest actress in Bollywood.

And..People should forget about her princess attitude-'I don't need to work(others do😕)..my silver spoon,My Chanel..My Prada..

Nobody except some Sonam fans would care to remember what was said about which ad.This controversy may be big in pinkvilla..and realistically rest of the world doesn't care,Ash's life and career is made.

One can criticize every star on their shortcoming and these stars deserve it too.

Sonam needs to be more careful as she is trying to find a foot hold in the industry.

Naw...M not blaming Ash..It's her decision whether she wants to promote fairness cream or not but her PR agent should be careful when making announcements like Ash avoids "fairness promotion," coz in the end, she has also taken this road and had promoted "White Glow"....
