Aamir delays Idiots

Actor, who's on a vacation, keeps Raju Hirani waiting
Before leaving for a vacation with his kids last week, Aamir Khan had a special trial of his three productions Delhi Belly, Dhobi Ghaat and Anusha Rizvi's The Falling. When he returns, he will sit on the postproduction of these films.
However, Raju Hirani's Three Idiots is one project that has been delayed because of the star's chutti.
Waiting, watching
A source reveals, "Raju wants to release Three Idiots this year-end. However, Aamir is of the opinion that they should wait and watch what's releasing at the time before setting the date.
Aamir's biggest competitor, Shah Rukh's My Name is Khan, is scheduled for an end-of-the-year release too.
AK wants his film to release very close to Khan's release and have another face-off like last year's Ghajini vs Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi."
Definite plans
The director and the actor have had long discussions about the release date. "Even though Aamir lets Raju have the last word; about the release of the film, he has definite plans of his own.
The director is getting impatient about the delay and needs Aamir's dates urgently to complete the film."
After returning from US, Aamir plans to sit on the postproduction work of his three films. "Aamir will be busy making the final cut of Abhinay Deo's Delhi Belly.
Raju wants to get him for Idiots before he gets busy with the promotional work for Delhi Belly."
The source adds that Aamir has verbally promised Hirani to offer his dates to complete his film. However whether that happens will remain to be seen.
