"Many people are thinking that since it is a Disney project it is an animated film, but that's not true. It is a full-fledged feature film which has the Japanese star Tadanobu Asano in it," says Asin, who plays an Indian princess who is taught martial arts by her guru played by Kamal.
Tadanobu starred as the young Genghis Khan in Sergei Bodrov's Oscar-nominated film Mongol and has been voted as the most popular actor in Japan by its film academy. He has also won the best actor award at Venice Film Festival. "The film has the dream team of AR Rahman composing the music and Resul Pookutty is in charge of sound. I can't expect it to go any bigger."
The South Indian actress has also had her fair share of infamy with her name being associated constantly with Salman Khan. The industry grapevine is saying that the duo is having a scene. But Asin dismisses these reports vehemently.
"I get calls from people who want to link me up with a particular person and ask for my permission to go ahead. I'm aghast!" she says, adding, "Salman is a very nice colleague and I have learnt the art to ignore rumours from him. He was laughing off the story which had linked us up together. I don't even have a boyfriend, and I'm not dating anybody. I hope people get this! For me, my career is my priority now."
She also clears the air about how her relationship with Deepika Padukone, as industry gossips have suggested that they don't even look at each other if they ever happen to meet at public events. "Deepika and I were at a beauty pageant as judges and we chatted up a lot and had a good time together. I was shocked to see it written that we were ignoring each other. Deepika and I don't have problems and we gel well whenever we meet," Asin signs off.
