New look for Salman on DKD-II
Salman Khan is about start shooting for the second season of Dus Ka Dum. But his formal look for last year will be accompanied by the long-haired look he's sporting for Veer.
|
A source from the show says, "The last time we had a word with Salman, he was shooting for Veer and agreed to give us dates. The channel is planning to air the show by the end of May or in June. We know that DKD will be replacing Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa's current season. Jhalak has been on for 7 weeks so far and is expected to end by May 23,2009."
In all likelihood, DKD has a good chance of starting its new season on May 29. The source says, "Salman has given dates for the first shooting schedule, which will start on May 16. He will shoot on May 17 and 18 before taking a break on May 19,2009. He will then resume shooting on May 20 for two days. So this five day schedule has been planned. Shooting is expected to take place in Goregaon, instead of R.K studios which was used last year." |

| Salman's formal look on DKD might go for a toss as the actor is currently sporting long, coloured hair for his movie Veer. The source adds, "The chances of Salman changing his Veer look for Dus Ka Dum are negligible. Last time, he was dressed in suits and formals so this time too, he'll stick to that style." |

We take a look at Dus Ka Dum's best moments from season one:
One of the most memorable DKD episodes was when Aamir Khan was a guest on the show. The two last costarred in the laugh riot Andaz Apna Apna in 1994 and audiences were thrilled to see their camaraderie again. Aamir's nephew Imran Khan also accompanied his uncle to the sets but it was Sallu's and Aamir's hilarious interaction that stole the show. |
|
Akshay Kumar and Akshay Katrina Kaif came to promote their film Singh Is Kinng last year. The highlight of the show was when Akki asked Sallu when he planned to get married to his ladylove, leaving Katrina bright red.
It was also amusing to watch Katrina question Salman about his interaction with female contestants. Sallu answered her questions but nothing spoke more about his affection for his girlfriend than the hug he gave her. |
|
| Govinda and Salman relived their Partner shoot by doing the dance from the film, making it one of the most entertaining episodes. Govinda kept the audience in splits with his jokes and also revealed a few of Salman's secrets, with the help of director David Dhawan who was also present. |
|
| Salman Khan made Ranbir Kapoor's visit extremely memorable when he gifted the young star a painting of Raj Kapoor, Ranbir's grandfather, which he himself painted. Ranbir made an appearance on the show with Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba. |
|
| The finale of the show had Rani Mukherji as a special guest. Rani asked Salman to make up with his good friend Shah Rukh Khan (with whom he had a spat with at Katrina Kaif's birthday party). Rani had good time on the show and asked Salman the usual question of when he plans to wed. |
