I think Zee should change the format.
The winner should be a girl & a guybecause this is simply biased.Mainly because the votes are not real votes.

Yeah agree with you he just preaches but does nothing about it. Even boogie woogie used to do the deciding after 2 weeks and like you mentioned so did a lot of singing reality shows but zee seem determined to shock the viewers and increase TRP's. It's just a shame that its at the cost of a regular viewer
and I have no idea why people think they are "100% sure salman is gonna win" because that is exactly what zee wants them to think! Just look at SRGNP, antakshiri and all these other shows. The winner usually is not the best so end up being a failure in the industry and I pray that doesn't happen again. Just think about qazi, prashant, sandeep and even a lot of winners in BW. If the winner is not the best one of the lot, the same will happe but thats just my two cents.
I am not even sure now whether he has the veto power?! 😕 I wish he will use it for a girl than a boy, if he has the power like that to use once. Because boys will be getting more votes anyway than girls, but girls like Vrushali is no less than the boys when it comes to talent...I agree with you regarding the winner's future in the industry... It wasnt like that a few years ago though - Sunidhi came up as a playback singer after being a winner. Shreya also got noticed through a reality show, I believe (I havent seen it, only read about it). But when you look at the winners of SRGMP, where are they all now? Only Amanat Ali got more chances even though he was 3rd - not to mention he was also very good in that year's set of contestants. I wish Poonam had got chances, but she never did. Though Mauli was 7th (??), she got the hosting for Rock N Roll. Same for Asma - I read that she will be an anchor to Zee in the Middle East. I hope Vaishali will get more chances in movies - her voice is so good. Looking at the history, the top one and two dont make it, as they end up in a contract with Zee, whereas the rest are free to explore their opportunities further, without being tied by a contract...So at the end, people like to see and hear more from the talented ones, and so they gain more popularity and fame. That's what Kavithaji said while being the Maha Guru for SRGMP C09 show - that she didnt win a music competition she went to, and was very upset, but later in life, she ended up getting chances and ended up as a playback singer while those who were in top places didnt...
These "reality" shows are just a money making racket, the only benefit the contestants get out of this is exposure, but there is no short-cut to success.
Talent is rarely rewarded nowadays, it's not so much a matter of talent as it is about having an identity, otherwise the entertainment/film industry wouldn't be filled with bad actors and singers. Any tom dick or harry can become a singer today, you just gotta have a distinctive vocal tone, a individual style of your own, take Atif for example, that guy can't sing to save his life, but he's a hit!.
It's not like the olden days, where playback singers were trained in their art for years, nowadays we have technology is cover up all sorts of errors.

Yeah currently winners rarely go very far. Even though you mention that they are bounded by contracts, I still feel that if they weren't they still wouldn't have gotten very far😕
Amanat ali is indeep a great singer and has so much potential but after last year's incidents I really doubt his future in India. With asma, good luck to her! she has a great charming personality but I reallyy think that deep down she didn't want to be a host in the middle east-she wanted that opportunity in India and her love for the country was so evident during every episode. Even toshi from SVOI got a great song to sing which turned out to be a massive hit so its important to have the incentive to grab every opportunity that comes your way too.😊There are always exceptions like sunidhi, shreya, abhijeet sawant, karunya (runner up) but in general a true deserving talent rarely wins. I hope DID breaks that myth and gives us India's best dancer! 😃They're all great dancers, let's just see where life takes them...
I like Pehli Nazar for its composition, but the real credit goes to the original Korean artist Kim Hyung-sub, from whom Pritam plagerised note to note, not because of Atif, and in this particular song he was practically screaming the song.
He really can't sing, I only consider those who can sing live to be singers, not these machine enhanced studio "singers".
