narpat looks at a picture of himself and little saloni. ambika comes and touches his shoulder. he says sawari looks like saloni's shadow. ambika agrees and says many times she felt saloni's childhod is back in sawari, then she thought it cant be, its because she was with saloni for so long. narpat says he felt for one moment they got their grandchild back but. ambika agrees and says the way sawari says savritri is her mom, she cant believe it, her eyes were saying something else. narpat says they should go ask saloni.kaveri stands at the door and hears this. ambika agrees to go ask saloni.
in jail outside where they are eating, some ladies complain. saloni stares into space and thinks about when she fed shweta and sawari. the ladies get her attention and tell her to prepare the food.
sawari opens the curtains in shweta's room and tells her to get up or they will be late for school. sawari gives shweta her toothbrush, prepares her bookbag, then they do their homework. sawari finds a welcome home mom poster. shweta takes it and puts it in her cupboard. she takes out saloni's sari and holds it. shweta says to sawari saloni wont come back but she has to promise never to leave her. they hug.
shweta feeds sawari. bhabho watches from the door.
shweta sits with bhabho and tells her to tell a story. bhabho says to go to bed because she has school tomorrow. shweta says to send sawari or she cant sleep, she sings a lullaby like saloni, its seems like saloni is back. shweta says to send milk by sawari and leaves. tara says this isnt right, shweta doesnt want to be away from sawari. bhabho says the more she tries to make shweta forget saloni, the more sawari makes her remember. tara says she knows what to do with sawari. tara leaves.
tara goes to sawari and tells her to pack her bags. tara packs clothes into a bag. sawari asks. tara says to her she cant stay in this house anymore. tara drags sawari to bhabho. tara says she has decided to send sawari to a orphanage, if she stays here, she will bother shweta with saloni's memories. sawari swears on saloni she didnt say anything to shweta. tara calls dheer and tells him to take sawari to an orphanage. sawari begs bhabho she cant live without them. dheer drags sawari. shweta calls sawari. sawari says she will do what they say but to let her meet shweta once. bhabho says fine, one last time. tara tells sawari not to cry in front of shweta and not to tell her anything. sawari goes.
sawari goes to shweta. shweta says she has been waiting for so long, where is the milk, and to do this all time time so she can lie that she drank milk. sawari tells shweta to hurry and go to bed. shweta tells sawari to sing a lulaby, she feels good because she sings like saloni. sawari says she cant, shes late, she has school in the morning. shweta says how, she is there for her. sawari tells shweta she is big, to take care of herself. shweta says she wants to stay small so she can do things for her, and to sing the lullaby. sawari sings a lullaby. shweta goes to sleep. sawari cries. she sees shweta's drawing of nahar, saloni and her. sawari takes it then looks at shweta.
sawari picks up a picture of saloni and talks to it saying sorry, she cant fulfill her promise to take care of shweta, tara is sending her to an orphanage and bhabho isnt doing anything. she remembers how amrit gave her a god idol and told her as long as this is with her she isnt alone. sawari puts the idol, saloni's picture and savitri's picture in her bag. sawari cries and leaves the room.
tara asks sawari whats in her hand. sawari shows saloni's picture, the god idol and shweta's drawing. tara tells dheer to take sawari. sawari asks bhabho if she can ever return to this house again. tara says no, savitri is no longer here, so she has no relationship with this house, the doors are always closed for her. sawari takes bhabho's and tara's blessings. sawari leaves with dheer.
