I remember the first day arthi and meera met. arthi opens the door and is surprised to see meera, and meera asks her why. arthi says it is because she looks very similar to her friend. Since this new meena and meera don't exactly look alike(curly hair straight hair, clothes).I'm guessing sujatha is the friend she was refering too, and maybe sujatha is here to figure out what happened to arthi and solve the mystery. hope you get what I'm saying.
But i have to agree with the whole arthi going to singapore and changing her look to fit meera makes alot more sense.

Good imagination Bon. Singapore air & food makes slim Arthi into chubby meera. Poor SS here also should he wait for 2 years to get married?

i felt really bad for Anandhi yesterday, she really likes Ragu and poor gal was controlling hard not to show her tears to her parents ..

Hiya, I too now remember that first meeting between Arti and Meera that you mentioned and how surprised Arti was that Meera looked just like the friend who had linked them up. However, subsequently, both Meera and Arti kept mentioning that it was Arti's boyfriend (of course, they said "lover") who introduced Meera to Arti. So there's a puzzle to be solved. Did the creative team suffer from amnesia and forget along the way that it was a female, Meera-lookalike, and not a male friend, that had linked up the two women? Highly likely.

Bon , I heard about the Gaylang incident mentioned by you from my brother who is a S'pore resident . I was really surprised that such a thing could happen in a country known for its strict laws & stringent punishments. How could the outlet owners be so careless? Such incidents are common in India & the culprits go scot-free. But in S'pore I am sure appropriate justice will be rendered.

Srima, being gluttons, Singaporeans don't care about cleanliness. Most of them assume that the less clean a stall is, the tastier the food, which is why we still have dirty food establishments in otherwise squeaky clean Singapore. It's a real disgrace and I hope the authorities wake up finally.

Back to the serial, I must say that so far the creative team has been keeping me excited, notwithstanding all the little flaws here and there.

Btw, last weekend, I wrote a synopsis of Kalyanam, together with a list of cast and crew members. I am planning to update it periodically so that newcomers and those who have had to miss chunks of the serial can catch up quickly.
