Yup shara, no news at all about ragu and grandad. Today episode was entirely about this Meena and her gang. And this Ranjan 😡😡😡 i wonder why is he so stupid. Really annoying. And meera annoyed me even more today 😡😡 the minute she entered the van, she started scolding like she the big boss and her acting here did not impress much.

meena was in a sari, and she was by aarthi's mom's bedside, and she was with sivagami and them too.

My speculation. Ganesh's conversation with Fr James last week suggested his girlfriend is actually dead. She is likely to be Aarti, who probably dies when the plot to kill the minister goes horribly wrong. Meanwhile, Ganesh fails to tell his parents about his girlfriend's death as Raghu has just died. He doesn't want his parents to get doubly upset. At this point, Meera enters the Varatharajan household to offer Ganesh her condolences. But before she sets foot in the house, she overhears Vara and wife talking about Ganesh and his girlfriend. She steps in, pretending to be the girlfriend. Ganesh comes in just then and not wanting to upset his parents, plays along. Meera later tells Ganesh that she told a lie because she didn't want to see his parents upset. The two stick to the story. Perhaps James will even persuade Ganesh to change his mind and consider marrying Meera.

Then, 2 or 3 years later, Ganesh will discover who Meera really is and how Aarti actually died. There are two possibilities here. One: Meera is indeed a terrorist. Aarti hears from someone, perhaps Mayavathi, that there is a female suicide bomber waiting to kill the minister and Aarti starts to suspect Meera is the one and goes to the scene to stop her. The police accidentally shoot Aarti, thinking she is the suicide bomber. The other possibility: Meera is indeed a CBI officer who had infiltrated into the terror gang. Mayavathi, because of her ignorance of the CBI plan, tells Aarthi that she suspects Meera is a suicide bomber. Aarti goes to the scene to stop Meera, who isn't of course planning to kill the minister. But when Ranjan suspects that Meera is a spy he whips out his gun to shoot her but Aarti gets caught in the crossfire and dies.

Yet another possibility. Aarti isn't dead. She may well be a CBI officer and is pretending to be dead as she wants to uncover Meera.

My idle mind couldn't help speculating. 😉
