The gorgeous and elegant Shubhangi Atre who shot to fame with her role as Kasturi will turn one year older tomorrow. The actress who is currently on a break after Kasturi wrapped up says now that she is on a break, she will have a good time with her family and friends.
"MY two and a half year old daughter Ashi is not well. Although I've made the list of my friends who I'll be inviting on my birthday for my birthday bash now I am not too sure. But let's see," says Atre.
Every year on her birthday, Shubhangi says she normally goes out for dinner with her hubby Piyush.
"When I was much younger we used to keep a katha (prayers) at home followed by a birthday party at night. But after I got married, I go for dinner with Piyush. However I have one wish and I hope it gets fulfilled very soon… I want to celebrate my birthday once in my home town of Kachmari. It's a beautiful hill station," says the actress.
Being a religious person, the actress says she begins her birthday by a visit to a temple. "I go to the mandir and then at home I do abhishek of Shivji and Hanumanji as I have immense faith in them."
And what are the gifts which the beautiful damsel is expecting?
"No gifts as such but one thing I want to definitely ask God is for his blessings always. I want him to gift me with a good show with a good character - this is all what I wish for myself," says Shubhangi, "My daughter Ashi has now started understanding things. So probably she will wish me this year. I am very happy about this… When ever she sees a Monginis ka cake or a brownie...that day is a birthday for her."
Shubhangi's most memorable birthday was the one when hubby Piyush gifted her with something very special. "About four years back before our marriage, Piyush gifted me with a bouquet which was full of red roses of my height. That was my most memorable birthday and my most memorable gift too."
