Wow if theres going to be story on Tansen, then only person who can direct the music is w/o a doubt, A.R. Rahman!!!!! I hope Mr. Barjatya hires him...the music HAS to be haatke, and the only person who is good w/ music in period films is A.R. Rahman...if you're making a film on Tansen, who was a singer and musician, you better have GREAT MUSIC!!!! That is the key to this film! Ravindra Jain is a fantastic musician as well. He did pretty well with Vivaah.

After flops like Drona and Delhi 6, Abhishek seriously needs a HIT. He is a director's actor. He can't do it by himself. Maniratnam is one who always gets the best out of him.

Tansen seems interesting. Hope Barjatyas don't add their too much sugary-syrapy dialogues and keep it real.
