Sunaina looks away whilst Sumer and friends cross their pathways. Sumer sees something and Sumer's friend tells him that is where the Dargah is and explains that this is where 2 lovers died and a tree grew in that place. Sumer goes to see the tree. Ratna and Sunaina reach there too. They both come to the Dargah and pray side by side. They pray wanting to know more about each other unknowingly that the other is just beside them. They go to that tree, all the while have a feeling that someone is behind them. Sunaina ties a thread around the tree while Sumer prays to the tree and then Sumer takes the same thread and ties it around the tree while Sunaina prays. They then pray at the Dargah again, see each other, smile and walk the other way, but stop for a second then carry on.
Sunaina goes back to Ratna and hugs her, as she liked going there and felt Sumer near her. A Banjaran (Apara Mehta) sings a love song, whilst Sumer's friends drink. Sumer has flashbacks of his childhood with Sunaina, whilst Banjaran dances and sings just like Mastani as he continues to have flashbacks and cries. The Banjaran comes to Sumer and tells him she can see his love and for him to recognise his love and to play his flute. She gets off the horse and carriage and runs into the jungles, whilst he plays. Sunaina's dupata gets caught on a tree and she falls and Sumer stops playing. Sunaina says she has come for her Bajaya and reaches the camp place where Sumer met the Banjaran. Sumer is gone but the Banjaran tells her he is gone and she was late and points to him going off on horse.
Sunaina goes to run after Sumer but Ratna says he is gone and stops her. She falls to the floor when Banjaran comes and comforts her, while she cries for Sumer. Sunaina and Ratna sneak back into the Gurukul covering their heads but Uttara sees her. Sunaina and Ratna then part ways to go to their rooms and Uttara sees. Sunaina opens her room door and finds Durgeshwari standing inside.
