Vaibhav Sooryavanshi shatters records enroute epic 175!

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed a blistering 175 to power India to a commanding position in the U19 World Cup 2026 final against England in Harare, smashing several records while at it.
175 by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is the first 150-plus score in an U19 World Cup playoffs game, the previous highest being Nicholas Pooran's 143 against Australia in the 2014 quarter-final in Dubai. The previous highest in a final was Unmukt Chand's 111* against Australia in Townsville in 2012.
It's also the second-highest score for India in Youth ODIs, only behind Ambati Rayudu's 177* against England U19 in Taunton in 2002. Sooryavanshi's 171 against UAE U19 at ICCA, Dubai in December is third on this list.
14 years, 316 days - Sooryavanshi is now the youngest to register an U19 World Cup hundred; the record was previously held by Babar Azam, who did that at 15 years, 92 days against West Indies at Palmerston North in 2010. Only Sooryavanshi (4) and Najmul Hossain Shanto (1) have scored hundreds in Youth ODIs before turning 15 (where known).
