They showed DM telling Santo that she will have to stay in his room till Meghna and Rasik are with them and then cut to DM putting the necklace on her ..

The voiceover says -

I hope Santu gets the love of DM's children, DM's Baa and Bapuji, DM's friends and even DM's Motiben. Pinakin and Champakali toh already loves her.
