"Twilight" Star's Hair Raising Experience!: No one ever said being a vampire was easy, especially if you're a brunette and you're playing a fair-skinned blonde vampire. Nikki Reed told MTV News that she plans on using a wig in the upcoming "Twilight" sequel, "Eclipse." My hair fell out," she said. "It took 36 hours initially to make me blond, and every other day, I was bleaching my head and my skin. This time around, we are testing out different wigs and stuff." As much as we love an actor committed to a role, skin bleaching is a bit too much – good call Nikki!

aww....yep that always happens when you bleach your hair...that is why people should be extremely cautious of using it.

Funny today, my cuz wanted to get highlights and the professional stylist didn't put a lot of bleach in the mix....but then she had to ad a little more and then said that she would have to wash her hair immediately after 10 minutes or else it could be possible that her hair would fall out. Then i read this lol...poor Nikki.

yeah - in the movie if you pay really close attention to her (I know hard cos your watching Edward and Bella ;) ) you see her brunette roots occasionally - figured it was horrinle for her hair!! - glad they're using wigs this time - the dark roots irratated me lol
