Sorry for the late Update, as I was busy today if anyone can write the updates on Thursdays it will be greatly appreciated. 😊
Phulwati and Laali😆
Laali is bringing water from the river in a pot when she sees Phulwati trying to climb a tree. Laali goes up to her and asks her what she's doing. Phulwati tells her that she was trying to climb the tree so she can get a signal for her cell phone. She then asks Laali to climb the tree as she can't with her Saari. Laali is confused and tells her that she doesn't know how to work this machine😆. Phulwati explains her everything, and then Laali Climbs. Finally they get the signal and Laali calls Phulwat's husband while sitting on the tree and when he picks it up, he says "how are you darling". Laali doesn't know it's Phulwati's husband, she creams at him ad says he doesn't have any respect for girls😆. Then Phulwati tells her it's her jiju, Laali then says sorry to him. Phulwati and her husband then convey their messages to each other through Laali. Laali while doing all this sitting on the tree, sees Nanku and Majri plowing the fields.
Majri - Nanku - Lalli Work to get 40 Rupees
Nanku and Majri are having a tough time plowing the fields as there are lots of rocks, and Nanku is trying is best to get the job done. While doing this, Majri's feet gets trapped in the plow and she hurts herself. Seeing this, Laali comes running towards her and Nanku also get's worried. Laali and Nanku then both help Majri to get up and Laali rips her dupaata and ties it around Majri's feet. Majri tells them not to worry as blood and sweat are same for the poor and they both dry away over time. Laali says she will help them as well in ploughing, they all get back to work and their will to work grows even stronger. All three of them work the entire day, and plow the field and very happily. Then one of thakur's men comes and gives the 40 rupees, all three are overly joyed by this😊. Laali says that today they will have a great dinner with this money but then Majri tells her that this Money is for your Gauna. Laali turns sad.
Next Morning
Majri is sorting out the 40 rupees that they got and sets out 28 rupees for the ticket, 7 rupees for Sweets, and 5 rupees for Coconut. But then Majri is worried about how there no money is left for Nanku if he want's to eat something on the way. Nanku asks her not to worry as his hunger will die away on the way to Bastaura(Laali's Sasuraal). Laali then comes there and asks what was the need to do her Gauna so early? and that the money could have been used to feed the kids. Nanku says that her Gauna is above everything. Nanku says that you always think about your siblings, and that sometimes she should think about herself as well. Laali hugs Nanku and starts crying, Nanku starts crying as well and tells her not to worry.
Preparation for Nanku to go to Laali's Sasuraal
Nanku calls the other three kids and asks them where his shoes are. The kids then climb to the rooftop of the house and that's where the shoes are. They take the shoes to the river and wash it in the water there.
While Nanku and Majri go to a sweet shop to buy sweets which they have to take to Laali's sasuraal. They are peeking at the sweets and at the same time they have water coming out of their mouths. Nanku asks how much are the sweets and the shopkeeper says it's for 60 rupees per kilo and then they asks the price of another sweet and that's 80 rupees per kilo. Nanku then asks to try some sweets and the shopkeeper gives it to them, and after trying they tell him they don't want it as they are not good😆😆. I think it was the first time they had these sweets, they were very happy.
Nanku and Majri then go to another shop, and there they see Pitasas, and that's for 28 rupees per kilo. They ask him to package it for 7 rupees.
At home the kids and Laali are preparing some clothes for Nanku to wear and then Nanku comes home and he practices to walk in the shoes. Lol he can hardly walk.😆
Majri then packages everything, and asks Laali to stay awake tonight as she has to awake Nanku in the morning.Laali goes up to the puppet and talks to him about her Gauna etc. And says that he too has to stay awake with her, and she the shows ends there.
Analysis
Laali's parents got the money to go to Laali's Sasuraal and fix her Gauna. But I liked the way how all three of them worked together to plow the fields and get the 40 rupees. It shows Laali is a very supportive daughter.
And there were some comedy moments today as well, like Phulwati trying to climb the tree to get signal for her cell phone and then Laali trying to use the Cell Phone
And the I loved the way how the entire family was preparing for Nanaku to go to Laali's sauraal by cleaning his shoes, and other small small things.
Overall it was a good episode today!👏
