Amitabh offers worship at hill shrine

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who underwent a successful operation for intestine problems last month, offered worship at the Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala near Tirupati, Chennai tonight.

Bachchan was accompanied by his wife Jaya, son Abhishek, Reliance Infocomm chief Anil Ambani, wife Tina, and Samajwadi leader Amar Singh.

Amitabh Bachchan, who was operated for diverticulitis of the small intestine on November 30, was discharged from the Leelavati hospital in Mumbai on December 17.
