@blue: That was what I meant when I said throwing in a few surprises here and there when she least expects it like the beach one! When Mayank took her out to the beach to cheer her up , it was a surprise to me!

I want Mayank to be exactly like he was in the beginning of the show - sarcastic, focused - but with a fun streak and his heart in the right place..
I wont say that the confusion he is going through now is uncharacteristic of him as he is not sure of what he is feeling. Its possible for even the most closed up people to feel attracted to someone, esp when the someone is a friend you spend so much time with.

But even after his confusions are resolved, I want MN to continue to be the couple we fell in love with. I don't want to see him turn into an over mushy romantic.. he is just perfect the way he is.. and if his character is handled well, then even their love story has a lot of potential to be spicy and interesting. There is no rule for a show to turn boring after love comes into the picture. It depends on how you manage to stick the characters to their character and I am trying to be optimistic about it. 😊

Yikes! I cannot even imagine Mayank as a lovesick puppy doing extended stop and stare, fall and catch routines ...
