Kumkum - Pyara Sa Bandhan

Everyone in the Wadhwa household is happy as Kumkum - the wife of Jatin Wadhwa - is pregnant with her first child. Everyone is celebrating the joyful moment. Sukanya taunts the other family members about not informing her about Kumkum's pregnancy. Brij Bhushan - the elder son of Harsh Wadhwa - refuses to attend the party which is arranged for celebrating Kumkum's pregnancy.

Dadaji Harsh Wadhwa suddenly disappears from the house. Everyone is tensed about Dadaji and suspects that he might be kidnapped. Dadaji calls Jatin, the eldest son of Kulbushan Wadhwa, and asks him to bring two lakhs along with him. The next day, Dadaji returns home along with a girl named Aarti and tells everyone that heenceforth, she will stay along with the family.

Everyone in the house is curious to know about Aarti. Brijbhushan and Sukanya dislike Dadaji for bringing an outsider into the Wadhwa household. Preeti - the only daughter of Kulbushan Wadhwa - argues with Dadaji. Kumkum slaps Preeti for her rude behavior with Dadaji.

Tears roll down Preeti's cheeks as Kumkum slaps her. Later, however, it is Kumkum who calms her down. Kumkum is tensed as Dadaji and Dadi are angry with each other because of Aarti. Brijbhushan is shocked to learn that Dadaji has invested Rs. 50 lakh in a fixed deposit in Aarti's name.

Brijbhushan hides the truth from everyone in the family and now desperately wants to know that why Dadaji is so concerned for Aarti? Kumkum asks Preeti to share her room with Aarti. Initially, she disagrees but later, she agrees only for Dadaji's sake. Aarti feels bad. Later, Dadaji discloses the truth to Dadi that Aarti is Brijbhushan's illegitimate daughter. Dadi is shocked.

Dadaji explains to Dadi, how Brij ditched Aarti's mother, Gayatri. Preeti behaves rudely with Aarti. Sumit is in love with Renuka, but is afraid to confess his love to his family. An unknown person sees Aarti in Mumbai and calls someone in Nasik to inform about her.

Sukanya misbehaves with Aarti. Brijbhushan is keen on exploring Dada-ji's relationship with Aarti. She steals Kumkum's necklace in an attempt to frame Aarti.

Nalini takes the necklace from Aarti's bag. When Sukanya suggests everyone to check Aarti's luggage, Dadaji revolts. Brijbhushan questions Dada-ji about Aarti's relationship with the latter. Aarti leaves the house without informing anyone.

Dadaji and the rest of the family members are worried about Aarti's absence. All attempts to search for her go in vain. Suddenly, everyone discovers Sukanya's ploy behind Aarti's disappearance.

Sukanya scolds Nalli for foiling her plan. Ujwal, a man to whom Aarti was forcibly engaged, finds Aarti and kidnaps her. Aarti desperately tries to escape. Will she succeed?
