Raj saves Aarti from the evil Ujwal. Meanwhile, Dadaji and the rest of the family members desperately search for Aarti. Aarti confides in Raj about herself. He volunteers to take her to his house. His father, however, denies him the permission to allow Aarti to stay at his place.

Aarti leaves Raj's house without informing him and meets Kumkum on the way. The latter requests her to return to the Wadhwa house. In a chance meeting, Ujwal informs Brijbhushan about Aarti and her mother. Jatin is tormented by severe headaches. After a lot of insistence, Aarti decides to return to the Wadhwa household.

Jatin consults a doctor for the persistent headaches that have been haunting him. Brij misbehaves with Aarti. Is someone plotting against Dadaji with the help of Ujwal?

Dadaji thinks of revealing Aarti's relationship with him to her - a thought that is shared by Aarti as well. Ujwal blackmails Dadaji by threatening to eliminate Aarti.

Without informing anyone, Dadaji leaves for a place decided by the blackmailer to drop a wad of money desired by the latter. Sumit accompanies Kumkum for her routine checkup. On the way, he talks about his girlfriend Renuka to Kumkum. Meanwhile, Ujwal fails to find the money left by Dadaji.

Everyone teases Sumit on Renuka's pretext. Brijbhushan misbehaves with Dadaji and storms out. Ujwal informs Brijbhushan about the missing extortion money. Sumit introduces Renuka to Kumkum. Sukanya's husband Rajesh visits the Wadhwa household. Brijbhushan prompts Ujwal to bilk more money from Dadaji.

Raj inquires about Aarti and Sumit introduces her as his sister. Kumkum consoles Aarti who has been humiliated by Nalli and Malli. Jatin's headaches get worse day by day and the doctor suggests that he went in for further tests.

Rahul misses his mother and confides in Sumit about the same. Kumkum gets suspicious about Jatin and shares her concern with Sumit. Raj finds ways to meet Aarti. Dadaji discovers Brijbhushan's involvement in the extortion.

When Dadaji questions Brijbhushan about his misdeeds, he retorts by inquiring about Aarti's relationship with the former. Aarti shares her anxiety about attending a co-ed college with Preeti. The doctor suggests that Jatin undergo an MRI test. Ujwal brings Brijbhushan to Savitri's house - an unkempt room that brings back all the nasty memories of Brijbhushan's affair with a woman named Gayatri.

Jatin coaxes and cajoles Kumkum to forgive him for coming late every night and agrees to her cute demands. Raj requets Preeti to arrange a meeting with Aarti. Brijbhushan refuses to admit to Aarti being his illegitimate child when Dadaji shows him the evidence. Raj tries to converse with Aarti, but in vain. Ujwal threatens Brijbhusan and reveals the truth about aarti in front of all the members of the Wadhwa household.
