See the basis of the storyline........color discrimination and the fact that a dark girl rises to admirable heights in the world and makes a mark . Where has this basic storyline gone? The dark girl lands a prince like husband , what about her singing career ? They cud have shown her making a mark in the singing world , overcoming petty sasural obstacles put in her way . But no , they showed her singing only off and on , not seriously enough . What they shud have shown was that it is not necessary to be fair , dark girls can land princes , make ggreat careers , get voted as the most beautiful women on magazine covers , , that they can redefine the concept of beauty , physical and spiritualk both . Instead , they turned Saloni in a superwoman who unecessarily pokes her noses in other people's problems and invites calamities like Kalika . This serial cud have become even more good , but i really cannot understand what the thought processes of the scriptwriters r .
