Hi Everyone,

Federer announced on his website yesterday that he is in Indian Wells and fit again, and also shared the news that he and long-time girlfriend Mirka are soon to be parents!😃

This is great news for him personally, but do you think that now that his priorities have shifted somewhat, his goals of reclaiming number one and breaking Sampras's record will now take a backseat for him? How will this news affect him professionally?

By the way, I'm truly happy for him, he seems like such a good guy and they will both make excellent parents!👏

trust me wen i say fed wants to break sampras' record badly an inshallah he will do it. and congrats too :D

I know he wants to break it, but I still think that even if (God forbid) he doesn't break it this year, its not going to affect him the sme way anymore. His priorities in life has shifted somewhat, and everything would be small in comparison to his first child. (just my opinion)

Think it'll give him some motivation and drive again. I don't know about #1, but I'd take my chances, and bet on at least 2 more slams out of him.

Congrats to Mirka and Roger!! Too sad that he got ousted from the Miami Masters but hope he wins at Monte Carlo!!!

Roger and Mirka got married today in Basel, Switzerland.

Awww. Best wishes to both of them.

Hmmmmmmm, maybe that's why he lost in Indian Wells, he was thinking too much about his upcoming wedding and baby!😉😆 Too much on his plate right now,😆 but I'm sure he'll cope with this well and put up a good fight in Monte Carlo and the rest of the Slams this year! 😊😛
