Priyanka Chopra's Lookalike - Gunjan Bakshi
If you've seen the 2007 film, 'Kismat Konnection' starring Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan, then you may remember a scene in which Shahid meets a voluptuous woman at a bar and she turns out to be a friend of his who helps unfold a plot.
You may have not thought much of her, but the 25 year old Mumbai born model has been gaining some attention lately, not for her acting skills but more so for her uncanny resemblance to top Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. Gunjan Bakshi says she's well aware of the comparisons and even hopes to make it big in Bollywood just like Priyanka.
Gunjan Bakshi was born and raised in Mumbai, finished her degree and got into advertising and that's when offers for modeling came pouring in. After that she got a portfolio done and has done ads for companies like Airtle, Nokia, Hide and Seek, Darbur and more. Like many successful models in Mumbai, she hopes to translate that into a flourishing career in Bollywood.
She herself finds the comparisons to Priyanka Chopra quite amusing. She's even been quoted talking about a particular incident in which she was mistaken for the Bollywood star: "Once I was having dinner with my cousin and a small kid walked up to me asking me for an autograph. I wondered why. While I was signing it for him, he was like 'I really liked you in Krrish.' That's when I realized he had mistaken me for Priyanka."
Gunjan is enjoying modeling but has talked to many big wigs in Bollywood and hopes to pursue a career in Bollywood.
