Deepika on a break

MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone is a class apart. Unlike most actresses, this lady prefers to space out her films and at the same keep away from the media glare when she is not promoting her film, unless it is some story about her time out with beau, Ranbir Kapoor.

Post Chandni Chowk to China Town, Deepika has kept a low profile. She has completed her commitments to the five different brands that have her as their ambassador and is taking a much needed break before she starts shooting for Excel Entertainment's Kartik Calling Kartik.

Deepika said, "I start shooting for Kartik Calling Kartik on 4 April. However the first schedule starts on 1 April, but I think I may be the only one landing up on the sets and this will be a smart way to play an April Fool's prank on me. But my scenes are scheduled on 4 April."

The actress has only two films in her kitty and that's the way she prefers it. After the first schedule of Kartik Calling Kartik, she will start shooting for Sajid Khan's Housefull with Akshay Kumar, which is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
