Sallu refuses Bhansali's film

The actor was apparently unhappy doing a 'cameo' for the director's next film

So, maybe, some of the major hits in Salman Khan's career have come from Sanjay Leela Bhansali. That definitely does not mean the actor would want to upset his fans by doing his film. A little birdie, tells me that Sallu has refused the director's forthcoming project Heera Mandi exactly for this reason.

It so happened that Bhansali had approached Salman for his project. He offered Khan an important role in Heera Mandi which however happened to be just a cameo. And Sallu was very angry. As in how could he simply do a 'cameo'?

He told the director that he wouldn't or rather couldn't do 'gaddari' with his fans by appearing in a cameo. And asked Bhansali to meet him next time when he had a full fledged role.

The film, we hear, will have two male and one female actor from Pakistan. Heera Mandi happens to be a place located in the northwest corner of the walled city of Lahore, next to Roshni Gate. It is also known as Shahi Mohalla and is the red-light district of Lahore.
