Slumdog brings international offers for it's Indian actors

Our Indian stars who featured in the Oscar success Slumdog Millionaire are slowly getting the rewards for b eing associated with the amazing movie.While Freida has been offered a role by Woody Allen her co-star Dev Patel has been signed by Manoj Night Shyamalan. And now Irrfan Khan has been approached by the Slumdog Millionaire team for another flick but this time as the lead actor.

Moving over to the actor who hogged the most limelight on the Oscar night, Anil Kapoor has been offered a key role in an American sitcom called 24.

A source says, "The new season of 24 begins in May and Anil will be part of that season.The modalities are being worked out. Anil is very kicked about this offer."

But I don't understand....how can the new season of 24 begin in May when season 7 is currently airing? Do they mean the shooting of the next season which Anil will probably a part of?
