Mumbai: Media in Mumbai recently was buzzing with the rumour of Salman Khan replacing Aamir Khan for a Yash Raj film.
As it turns out, a little birdie perched on one of the YRF trees, tells us that it ain't true!
Apparently Aamir's project with the Chopras is still on and big daddy Yash Chopra will indeed direct Aamir Khan in it.
It seems the film is in the pre-production stages and will be ready to go on the floors soon enough.
Now, the Salman Khan angle to the whole story is that the superstar is being signed up for a Yash Raj film!

After turning down Chak De India, Salman seems to have learned a lesson the hard way. We are told he has been trying to mend fences with Aditya and Yash Chopra. Finally after some consideration the Chopra camp has offered him a movie to act in.
The yet-to-be-titled film will also star Ravi Kissen and R Madhavan among others.
To be directed by Tashan director Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film is said to be an action comedy.
A friend of Salman says that the star has been warming up to the Chopras for some time now. And the whole episode of his vanity van not being allowed to enter the compound has been put on the backburner long time ago!
