When Tara directly blames Sawri for the theft , Saloni shud keep aside her niceness for a change , be more human , and take offense and send Tara a message .

Since this is a joint family , Tara shud have thought twice before calling police in instead of first holding a family meeting and voicing her suspicions. In a joint family , such things r handled very delicately . Be it Advitya , Shweta , Sawri or anyone , this matter needs to be resolved within the family . The two earings r nothing compared to the upheaval the entire family will suffer due to Tara's rash action .

What Saloni said aout the damage done to a child's mind due to this is true but that is not just what Tara has done . She has also hurt Saloni as a mother and as a co sister in law for material things when they r surviving in a joint family . That was not the way to go about it and Saloni shud take offense as a woman too . Tara wud have , if Saloni had done it .

Now that the ear rings r found , I wont be surprised if Saloni gives Sawri a resounding slap till Vaidehi clears the matter . [ Sigh .] .

But even if shweta is found guilty , still the same principle remains ...........it is a ghar ka mamla , ghar ka bachcha , and so nothing changes . Things shud have been handled diffrently and Saloni shud be offended .

The joint family onus lies with everybody and Tara shud be given a verbal bashing .

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.... BUT HOW WILL VAIDEHI CLEAR THE CONFUSION? SHWETA HAD ONLY SHOWN THE EARRINGS TO KAVERI'S DAUGHTER AS FAR AS I REMEMBER😒

Yes you are right calling the police was wrong and ridiculous. No one in right mind calls police for such petty matter. Saloni who stood for rigteousness doesnt care for Sawri. The way she is treated like a servant and Shweta is way too pampered. Vaid too doesnt receive the same treatment as Shweta. Its too lopsided. Tara and Shweta seem to be prima donnas! I think the writers have not only exaggerated the event but also ruined the story and I have little hope for any sanity from them.

Yes . Why this extra preferential treatment to shweta without any rhyme or reason is a mystery .

But thw worst part is calling the police in for just a pair of ear rings as they have sentimental value . Such matters r resolved within the family even in middleclass circles and theirs is a rich family . It is not just a matter of breaking a child's heart , it is a matter of serious dissent within the elders involved too . Had Saloni done the same thing with the suputra of the house , Advitiya , Tara wud have turned downright ugly . In this sense , she shud be given a real bashing by Saloni but we never will get that satisfaction in SP , Im afraid .

"suputra"😆😆 Aditya is easily inlfuenced by his biological mother with no bearing of Tara's love and affection😕. Is it really possible? Tara always turns small matters into big issues blowing it out of proportions. The only person to handle Tara was Brij who has been rendered helpless!! So Tara rules the roost!😆 Amrit also follows instructions of Sal and Bhabho anyways got lot of humiliation from Tara. Pia hardly gets any dialogues so cant expect. The only person to give it back to Tara is Urvashi! and she will by using Aditya. Then we will have Sal donning super powers again , provided SP is able to survive the falling TRPs 😃

Exactly . They r showi ng real ' ghatiya' elders , who r going down to an ugly level . Not that there is a problem with this , such elders really do exist , my only objection is that when elders stoop to this level , show us a character who can give them a befitting reply . There is none . Saloni , righteous as she is , fails miserably in giving befitting replies to either Tara or Kaveri , always . But children cannot defend themselves , so we as viewers do want a character who can tackle such ugliness by the horns !

First of all I agree that Tara's approach was wrong but the way her character is portrayed it is kind of obvious that she would do this. Second those earrings have emotional value, right now she has nothing in her life. Her son hates her, her husband is in no where land at this she only has memories

And if saloni slaps Savri then she should slap sweta, in fact be meaner in her punishment, because she never told the truth. But even though Saloni says that she treats both of them the same she doesnt because still deep down she feels that Savri is not her daughter (even though we all know the truth)

Whatever the reason , calling in the police is just not done. Emotional value or not . See any midle class or rich household, such thefts r discussed within family , each one is asked if they saw the items , questions r raised , arguments follow . but police r not called unless all family members agree , unless the theft is really considerable.

i am satisfied that today saloni didnt side with tara and trusted her own daughter instead of slapping her . tara is the one who frankly needs a slap , and hasnt got one in many many years . her spoilt behaviour is largely as she has gone unchecked for many years now .
