yes i adore her....n i can understand what she's going through......those who think she behaved abnormally will come to know when they will come face to face with such a situation..i'm not saying that we have conservative family like Akshara has..but given her family set up, her parents, the fact that she had faced a rejection (normally it's more than once...) , its very very normal...

but i think i'll dump all the blame on her parents....esp her mom....yaar they filter down their own fears onto poor akshi.....yaar shez just 19yrs.......they keep drilling into her the fear that shez got the responsibility and the whole burden of the izzat of the family.....why dont they ever sit down with her and talk to her and explain things openly....instead of just talking to each other and showing their concern for akshi to each other.....why dont they show this concern to akshi directly ....to her face.....

@Charu: It's great that Akshara is a girl who respects her parents and their honor a lot....that is a great quality...but I think it is very presumptuous of you to write off ppl's thinking if they call her out on her other qualities of not being able to even THINK for herself. Respecting your parents doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to have any situation processing capabilities of your own.

yes i have seen a lot of ppl facing the same situation... from conservative families too...n i have seen many who have been rejected many times...cuz something or the other went wrong..but i have NEVER seen anyone react like that! i do understand the concept of arrange marriage...so many of my cousins, mausis...unka rishta has been fixed in front of my eyes only..but no one reacted like that! (even if 2-3 proposals were rejected before) so common we r not fools..what they r showing is totally unrealistic! totally...

@Manali: Exactly....I've also watched ppl going thru arranged marriages among my cousins etc, and rejections have happened there also, but the situation in this show is deffo exaggerated....I dunno if that is for the sake of drama or what not.

Ah well, I'm enjoying Naitik for now ;-) lol

ya even some of my relatives have been rejected ya they were felt sad..but they were optimistic that the next proposal'll get fixed..so they tried to appear more confident so that they cud be able to impress the guy..in Akshara's case even when she met Rithuraj she was quite nervous n didn't talk properly at 1st n didn't seem confident at all..so this cud be another reason why he rejected her..
so she shud've avoided the same mistake..ya maybe she was scared that if she spoke something wrong thing'll go wrong but she messed up things even more by not even speaking a single word or not even a gesture..i'm looking forward to their 2nd meeting..i'm loving Naitik n Naksh

She wasnt talking because when she did talk last time... they mistook her and now she's scared she will say something worng AGAIN and thy will reject her..
