Archie,
In a way, this is good! RK himself wanted/wants to leave and I trust your news that RK not wanting to play wheelchair bound was instrumental in pulling the plug!
You know, the strangest thing is, just this morning I was thinking of Ashwini Yardi and how cool it would be if RK got pulled in by her into a new soap. This woman was there during the best days of KS and she is doing wonders in Colors Channel. I am sure that she would give RK a good role. Keeping fingers crossed !
Anyway, I will miss this forum and the people here. But if RK is going to be in a new show in the near future, then we could all meet there! Again keeping fingers crossed!

Hey Guys,
I have not watched KS since the leap, so it's ending is sort of bittersweet. I am glad that the actors can move onto something better, but I will still miss the community it provided us.
KS had a great run, in todays competitive market when most od EK serials are closing shop in less than 2 year and some just a few months like MB, i think 3 years is a great run.
It came and conqured. I think it has won the most awards for shows in the last 3 years. 6 for RK alone, 3 popular and 3 jury. Loads for the show, PD and Ashwini. It created a phenomenal jodi and with SP was instrumental in putting zee on the map. Ashwini yardi even called RK the face of zee. So it's all good. But like all good things this too has to come to an end. Hope to make a similar journey with you guys on the next RK show.
cheers.
***I agree with Megs here completely! No matter what, KS was the reason along with SP to bring Zee back on track and no one can deny that! It has won lot of awards, the cast has been excellent and their perfomance have been mindblowing. And now a days none of the shows are lasting more than 2 years! Inspite of so many tracks, twists KS has lasted for 3 successful years which is commendable!

Hey Ash:

I agree with you and Meghna...

I haven't watched any Indian soap in my lifetime until I saw KS. I was hooked on it for the first one year. So much so that I used to listed to JDD song every day on my long commutes to work and back.

There were many things that I loved about the show. I liked Pia, Rano, Bani, Ranveer, Jigyasa, Dadi, Maasi, Aditya, the little Krishna and Atharva....I even liked Tarun, Meera, AD at first until the creatives screwed up their characters and the intent to change the plot drastically. They could have made the three of them into good adversaries or good friends turned foes, or foes turned to friends.

But unfortunately things went south after the first year and half...and I haven't watched the show in more than 9 months...since the second leap.

Oh well....it had to come to an end - we can say thank you to Ekta, Sandeep Sikand and the original cast for the initial days.

Sho,
Amen to that. I really want to remember how this show hooked us in. The fights bettween munna campers and the bani brigadiers. The friends we made. The fun we had on the forum. The show gave us some memorable moments and scenes. So it's all good.

What happened to Atharva? If the show is ending I guess they just killed him without a thought.
