Was Ram disinterested in Kasamh Se?

By now, we all know that Kasamh Se is going off air. But what's not known is that one of the main reasons for the show going off air is the

protagonist Ram Kapoor aka Jai Walia.

Well, atleast that's what the channel seems to be saying. According to sources from the channel, the actor had been giving less time for shooting due to his commitment to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. "Even when he used to come for the shoots, he'd be really tired," says the source. The strategy then was to show his character having a heart attack so that the focus shifts off him. "But as the TRPs of the show had dropped anyway, a decision was taken to wind up." Well, atleast Ram has another show in his kitty but we feel sorry for Gurdip Punjj, who had joined the show as the new Bani. Maybe she should think of doing a reality show too!

First of all I don't blame if he is disinterested in KASam Se. After so much buturing of the character & story with lot of good coactors leaving the show after being wasted its his loyality that he was still around.

He has given 3 yrs to the show brought the show & zee up on TRP chart. Now if he is doing something new to show his fans his real side there is nothing wrong. Potraying a character which is aging too quickly & is more tahn double his actual age is not good for his career & he is too talented to be wasted being with a team who can't make use of it.

Ram might be getting tired with Jhalak but he is such a seasoned actor that it doesn't show in his performance. ( Remember how PRachi used to blamed for disinterest & blank expressions during her JDj days when the poor girl wasworking hard). MAin leads doing multiple shows , even reality shows is not new. But didn't see people like Ronit Roy getting blamed for their show getting off air. May be reporters have something against Ram butnot actors lik Hiten, Ronit?

Why blame him for what creative did & brought a great show with so much potential to an end. Even now they could have turned it around with bringing in Atharva, a much awaited character. But instead they concentrated on Veer which whose very existance reminded all of much hated ONS. That was final stroke. And creative still didn't learn. Instead of bringing in some good strong actor as Atharva who can carry the show to give a break they made the mighty JW a helpless bed ridden old man.

When will reporters get off Ram's back?

P. S. BTW isn't Jhalak for limited time & the time Ram will be on that will depend on elimination. Then just like Gurdeep even he has to find another project.

i havent posted on discussion topics for a long time
i dont watch KS for 1 whole year..... but knew bits n pieces

JW's heart-attack was supposed to be a twist and after that he was paralysed
what i dont get is if he is paralysed and either sitting on wheelchair or lying on bed...then whats the problem with his tiredness 😕 if his full body is paralysed he cant move n talk then how does it affect his acting whether he is tired or not? all the creatives are making him do is sit or lie 😕 its not as if they want him to hop around the house...and how should an old paralysed person look like except tired? dazzling as the morning sun?

sorry..but this reasoning doesnt go through my small head..

I don't blame Ram for losing interest in KS. Many on the forum too had wanted KS to end. In fact, in a recent interview, Ram had admitted that he had decided to quit KS over some creative differences but was persuaded to stay on after things had been sorted out. But I think that in all probability he would have left after the current track.

For some part of 2008, Jai Walia did not occupy a major part of the script. Ram had mentioned in an SBS interview that since his workload had reduced, he decided to take on JDJ. But of late, yes, Jai's character had started to occupy more screentime. But the creatives had already done the damage with the Veer track which was I think the final nail in the coffin. It was the track which marked the beginning of the end. I wish they had brought in an Atharva positive track, instead of focusing solely on negativity! There could have been some sort of drama with JB, Atharva and the rest of the family. The KS creatives concentrated too much on negativity and the same boring Jigyasa "I want to destroy Bani" story! Lets also not forget the butchering of all the characters by the creatives, including the character of Jai Walia!

I thought that Jai's heart attack was supposed to be a twist in the tale?

Anyway, the Zee people said that every story has an end and KS had reached that point. But it was a bit filmi, the way they had decided to end Dulhan but at the 11th hour, decided to instead end KS!

I guess, for the channel (including many of us), Jai Walia did mean more to KS and hence did not want to continue KS without him!

I agree with suganthirani, and what were the creatives doing all this while, JW did not have any major role to play for quite a while, he was used to keep the faithful viewers like us to watch the crap. Now they know no JW, no KS....RK had given them enough opportunity and took up something only recently that is after 3 years what more does BT want?

And who will win the show, let the best man win, but then me will rooting for RK😛

I doubt he will be out of JDJ soon. First he is a better dancer than many other contestants and second and more important is the fact that JDJ is a reality show. If you know than the producers of the reality show try to keep those contestants who are good in pulling the masses either by their talent or their antics(may be Gauhar, Parul, HK or RK). Ram is no doubt a crowd puller with his antics and you can easily understand that by the fact that he was asked to do that hula dance. Asking the contestant to do something besides their routine performance was a way to increase TRP's and who better than RK.

ram must also perform in dance the basic concept of the show so that he is not voted out by the jury in the last stage that is dancing among least two
